wow, i guess you are rich, buying a box of duelist packs
how much does a booster box costs? and not all cards are in? i thought all cards will be inside, since 30 packs per box, 5 cards per pack, 80 different cards in normal boosters.
would love to sell or trade, only that i'm still young and i can't go and meet strangers outside, or my dad will kill me, LOL . How much is that tuning supporter's value anyways, seems useless, only can draw 1 card...
btw, where do you live?

oh yeah, mind to estimate the value of Montage Dragon(SR) and Red Demon Dragon/Buster(UR)?

Noooooo, I'm not rich, haha... that booster box was a once in a blue moon thing, since well, after CNY there's Ang Pao...

A booster box is darn expensive... normal price goes for RM210 per box, I had to haggle and bargain like crazy to get the price down as much as possible... in the end, a simple COMMON card that I wanted wasn't in that darn box of 30 packs... I never wanna do it again, that's why I prefer to buy off people now, haha... by the way, a Duelist Pack box has 15 packs per box, and goes for RM110 a box normal price.

Nope, not all cards are in it. As of my personal experience, buying a whole box totalling to 150 cards, it's possible to not even get a certain Common in the whole set. The Common cards are randomly inserted, sometimes fewer in a box, sometimes too many. There are also Normal Rares, which are actually Common cards but are as hard to find as Ultra Rares. From that The Duelist Genesis box I bought, I only got 3 Super Rares, 2 Ultra Rares, and 1 Ultimate Rare. I guess the overall ratio of holofoil cards in a box is average 6 to 7, but sometimes less for those cacat-ed boxes, haha...

Aw, darn... I just left Tuning Supporter and Limiter Break to complete the Duelist Pack set... would be really nice if we could trade. Just a quick meet up, a hey nice to meet'cha, transfer item/cash, and off we go, haha...

Tuning Supporter... maybe RM20 to RM30? Though if you're willing to sell, gimme a good price yeah? Haha... Tuning Supporter can also be treated as a Level 2 instead of 1 when used as a Synchro Summon Material, so it makes it more flexible to Synchro Summon.

I live somewhere near Shah Alam, actually, it's much closer to Sunway and Subang... but it's a rather isolated and quiet place. What about you?

Montage Dragon should be RM20 to RM30... Red Demons Dragon/Buster (UR) is still new, probably around RM50 to RM60 to my knowledge.

last time i think i bought at 230 like tat..and i already bought for 3 boxes if i didnt make a mistake..
when i bought it and open at the spot damn lot ppl come to watching me opening the booster and some of them said wan to help me open the booster...i wonder did they steal my card ...??

a booster box is actually quite cheap, but since taxes+customer service and crap, it costs alot more. A structure deck is only RM45 if you buy from distributers, so unless you want to buy in BULK, don't expect the distributers to sell to you.

Hm, by the way, which shop in Mid Valley sold the cards? Anime Tech? Comics Mart? Think I'll go check it out one day.

Yeah, what he says about the distributors is true... but careful, some distributors get their goods via agents, meaning they might have slightly higher priced stuff.

Third Floor, in some gaming shop called "phantasy" or something, they just sell random packs, and not a real trading card shop.

Haha, I once thought of that... buying in bulk, but then my wallet reminded me that I wasn't rich... also hard to get many people to buy together in that amount, since most prefer not to.

Yes, KL does have a place that sells single cards, booster packs and structure decks, as well functioning as a cozy little place to duel. It has a nice atmosphere, except when a buncha noisy people turns it as noisy as a market. Once I saw just these two guys playing some random card game, but it sounded like a full house stadium negara, lol! They even turned on some anime song while they play, kinda interesting.

Anyway, that place is known as Gamers Arena. There are two outlets, one in Sungai Wang Plaza, and another in Times Square. Like I said before, the one in Sungai Wang is on the 6th floor, basically the whole floor sells a lotta clothes, has a couple of video game shops, and a cyber cafe. It's located near a wall of graffiti, in a corner. The one in Times Square is just as naith said, next to Graffiti Toys, near Mc Donalds, on 5th Floor.

Anyway, I noticed that the very first page of this topic had the forbidden list, though is extremely outdated. I'm sure duelists know how and where to check it themselves, but I'll just post the latest one so far here anyway, for those who want to know.

well which location always full with ppl??

Raging Battle is out! I bought 1 pack but its RM8.50... Was hoping Earthbound God but got some useless Deformer monster instead T.T

here i got sugestion for the players who want find location:

1) sg wang- Tis i can tell players is nice place for the who want upgrade his skill, but usually i suggest tht newbie go thr for competition,place easy to find.

2) time square- i tik is not suitable for yu-gi-oh player, is for magic gathering and Gundam war.

3) B.J carefour- less ppl go thr already( usually can find old car)

4) Pasar baru Gombak ( comic shop)- r i kindding? not, tis i usually go thr play, and i m one of team member, and however tis place a lot kids, don't tik thy all like easy for bully, but u can find out thy can show new skill tht sg wang don't have( but still loss), sat and sun moring, u can c a lot ppl go thr play, but i sugest don't challge the boss, place is ok suitable for tht area.

5) selayang mall?- i dunno, but i hear got ppl go thr play lah

6) Ampang mall- most of thm crazy player ( most of thm one turn kill) and tht champion 2008 come out from here.

Well, I don't think there's a place that's "always" full with people, since I'm sure that people have their own lives and don't dedicate their entire life into a card game. Haha...

OMG! Raging Battle?! Black Feather series! Earthbound Gods! Strong Wind Dragon, Explode Wing Dragon! Power Tool Dragon! New Synchro Monsters! Heck lots of interesting cards, haha... and as usual they still got Psychics and Deformers. A new card to counter Gladiator Beasts, G.B.Hunter! Red Demons Dragon's attack, Crimson Hell Flare! Wicked Reborn! Here comes the urge to buy again, lol... xD

This is awesome, but damn RM8.50 a pack? Was the rate increase in Yen that much, or just an excuse to earn a little extra money since it's a new pack? Gah... well, at least Konami's working on the Ancient Prophecy packs as well, another new pack coming out soon... not to mention the new Starter Deck 2009 that's coming out in March! Gonna have Road Synchron and Road Warrior in it.

By the way, do you know how much they sell a Gold Series pack in Mid Valley? I heard it stopped printing already, and this guy in this random shop sells one pack for RM22, ugh... bought 2 packs, and didn't even get the 2 Common cards I wanted.

Gold Series is sold out in the shop where I bought in Mid Valley... Mid Valley Jusco also sells booster packs, and the last time I went had a 15% discount on the packs, a japanese guy bought a whole box of gold series , not even leaving 1 for me Last time they sell for RM18, and I bought 2 packs.. Near my school(Catholic high) theres a comic shop which sells single cards as well as boosters, and the price is also RM22. According to the boss, he told me all boosters increased price by the distributor, due to the increase of Japanese Yen.
Oh ya, i just bought a Raging Battle pack, and got Earthbound God Asalla Picu, Ultimate Rare! Yay for me.
