hi everybody...i just bought HEC 6919...this casing quite tall...for HEC casing user please give me some idea to mod this casing...

yurp...it come with transparent side panel...no need to mod the side panel anymore...huhu...dunno where my fren buy it and it cost me rm300...

Different. The Chieftec Dragon comes with a door. Actually the HEC looks like another case, it's the Antec case. Looks just like it. I forgot which Antec model though.

Chieftec, Antec, HEC.... they're all the same chenming chassis ler

im using this case as well for the past 2 years (bought at rm270)....... it aint full tower ler.... its about the same size as the TT shark....

case comes with a ...

-windowed side panel
-removable hdd cage
-drive rails for the cdrom bay
-toolless pci locks.
-intake filter
-12cm rear exhaust fan (globe sleeve bearing)
-80mmx2 intake (1 at hdd bay.)

cons:
-only ONE side panel can be opened (windowed panel)
-heavy as shit!!!!

when i bought this casing i had to carry the damn thing around on my head weh... too heavy to carry it normally....everyone oso looking at me one kind....kakakakkaka

u mean this thread??? dont think so....havent seen his posts lately....hes done UV mod to his case.... but no cutting as far as i know... u can see in the forumers database thread there ma

so far i think im the only one whos chopped the case up.... ive cut out the front and rear fan grills and also put in 2 top windows. replaced the plastic side window with an acrylic and also put a 120mm blowhole on the new acrylic (ianho's work)

why u change the sidepanel plastic?is it easy to broke when cut the fan hole?or the plastic not so clear?

nola....i just wanted to still have the original. the original plastic window scratch guard oso i havent taken off man....2+years already....hehehe

owh...but i think the original sidepanel easy to broken...

owh...hard to hide wire la...i think this casing is bad for cable management...me also dunno how to hide the wire...haha...

yeah..its abit hard...this is the best that i can do considering i have ALOT of cables running around due to my fan and ccfl switches and also my 8 sticks of CCFLs



planning to redo my wiring...but right now friggin bz with work until weekends oso have to work

thats the akasa paxmate i bought from elhh... cant remember how much i think around 50 - 70 enough for full tower. got smaller version for medium towers oso. it comes with a double sided tape on the back.

i mainly stick because wanna have the black background for better UV effect

soundwise...alot of people say not much difference when using akasa paxmate. but my case hard to say coz i using 2x delta ffb and 2 more quite loud fans

owh...thanks for ur info...last time i just spray the icute interior with black...but not with this casing...haha...have to think twice to mod this casing lol...its new...haha...

damn!! stupid pos malaysia! i bought hec from forummer and when casing arrive, top front panel already broke, clip broke.. top a bit dent...











need sifu's help! can the top panel be repaired?? or anywhere i can find replacement??

u want to repair i guess epoxy would do the job but it wont look that good la.

Sure can.You can use a filling putty to cover the cracked parts.With a lots of sanding jobs after that.
