can the universal WB like EK or XSPC one fixed onto it?

The issue with this things is the fan itself is insufficient to keep the VRMs cool under heavy load. You need to get extra heatsinks which is not part of the package.

Hello everyone, I am thinking of overclocking my R9 290 but without any heatsinks, the VRM could go as high as 100c.

you're thinking of overclocking naked? sounds wrong lol.
There are so many aftermarket coolers available. Thermalright is one that comes to mind. Just buy one, remove the stock HSF and screw the new one on. I think it's pretty straight forward. |
