this my humble desktop


i find that stardock fences is all i really need to keep a tidy desktop. in the past i tried stuff like rain meter, but as useful as the hdd widgets are, i don't think it's possible to let the drives go to sleep, so to me that wasn't really practical.

also for simplicity sake i prefer my current setup 

i also did some minor edits to the start tiles. now is more practical and less annoying when using the default tiles.

not everyone needs a complicated setup requiring to install so many other things mmmm kay mr mackey

just so you know, stardock fences automatically sorts out desktop so all files folders will auto be put into an ordered fashion... so less clutter.....

there is much more customization like creating own folder boxes with rules for how stuff get put into them. but i was pretty okay with the defaults.

that in itself is a big improvement from default that i think you failed to appreciate but outright just dismiss as nothing  thats why just saying ... lel
