Item(s): NGK IRIDIUM MAX BPR6EIX-11P
This is something different from NGK IRIDIUM IX as this has platinum tip ground electrode whereas the IRIDIUM IX doesn't.
I believe you can hardly find this in Malaysia. I had difficulty finding this in Malaysia and Singapore thus I had to buy it from Japan. I had been using it on my Saga LMST for more than 100,000 KM and are still in good condition
This spark plug can be used as a high performance and colder running spark plug on Proton Saga/Iswara 1.3 /1.5, Proton Wira 1.3 / 1.5.
This is a long life high performance plug which can easily last 100,000KM or even more.

Package includes: 4 pcs of spark plugs as per title in box

Price: RM200

Warranty: As per NGK warranty policy

Suit for what car ?
*
Hi, it's compatible with any engine that uses NGK BPR6E-11 or equivalent as standard spark plug. Generally it means any car that uses spark plug with 14mm plug thread diameter, projected insulator, resistor, heat rating #6, 19mm thread reach, and 1.1mm plug gap. As for the plug gap of 1.1mm, I would say it's up to the ignition spark strength, it the engine has been modded with higher ignition power, U might want to increase the plug gap from standard to 1.1mm.

If your car is not using NGK spark plug as standard, you might want to refer to the spark plug cross reference for further detail on the compatibility.

biggrin.gif Well, I'm not sure how many models of car is there on the road today, to list out which car uses this spark plug, to me is very challenging Sir. FYI, I'm currently using this on my Saga LMST and been not changing spark plug for more than 100k kM.

Is it better than IX?

Is it compatible with my Gen2 05 1.6 (A)?
*
IX has normal ground electrode whereas the MAX has platinum ground electrode. The car mentioned is using tapered seat type spark plug, so this plug is not compatible with that car.
