Recommendations Is there any PDF writer for Mac?, Universal Virtual Printer (like CutePDF)

I'm looking for freeware/share to create PDF files for Mac machine. Somethg like CutePDF (too bad it does not support Mac). Its like a virtual printer installed on your system. You could actual printer anythg on your system where the output is PDF file. Can recommend any?

i am not using any mac but as far as i know.. the best pdf writer should be adobe acrobat professional.

Mac shd already have built-in virtual printer for pdf format. Have you tried that yet?

moved from software. maybe apple byte will be more suitable.

ya...got built in feature 'save as pdf' for common programme. But not all programmes rite? Anyone knows miniCAD (like AutoCAD, but for mac)...i try to create it PDF file from its output... is dat possible?

dude, its built into the OS ... means that any Mac OS program can print to PDF... even if you don't have a printer installed... smile.gif

yeap, that's the beauty of OS X. simply press "print" (anywhere, any program), lower left side will have a "PDF" drop down menu, select "Save as PDF...", and u are done.

emm my new ibook come with adobe acrobat pro 7.0 software.. but yesterday i just uninstalled the program.. so how to get back the program??

any suggestion!!

no need... the create PDF feature is built in!

press apple + P and look in the lower left side... there should be a PDF feature there...

Hehe xmsham if you don't want to use the built in PDF printer and still want to use the Acrobat software, you can get it back in two way:

1. Go and find the installer CD
2. Find any data recovery software to get the application back. I've use Data Resque II and it works very very well.

I would suggest you like others too, use the OS's PDF printer biggrin.gif

It has bulit in PDF printer , you could print as PDF , so you would not have any problems there. Its pretty good
