Hi all, just want to find out if a full restore (restore as new / erase all contents and settings) is performed on a jailbroken phone, will there any traces of the jailbreak files in the phone's memory?

Or more specifically, is there any way to find out that a phone has been jailbroken after a full restore is performed?

yes... but it depends on who is looking.

normally a full restore as new would make your iPhone sufficiently reset back to stock iOS for warranty claims etc.
