hello sifus and masters,

My fren having issue with his iphone4 japanese set.

Recently he did a restore and the phone is asking him to insert sim to continue the set up process.

Before this he was using the phone without the sim card without any issues.

Since its a Japanese set i dun think can use our local sim cards right?

Is there anyway to overcome this issue without inserting SIM card short of jail breaking the phone?

Currently the phone is stuck on setup screen after choose language.

Pls help! Thanks!
