I used to jailbreak my iPhone(s) but since last year, I notice there's not much benefits doing so. iOS seems to have much more features as compared when it was first launched. Shutting down those unused daemons also does not provide additional speed like it used to.

I have both 6s plus and 6+, after some tweaks in the 6+, it kinds of mimicking the feature that I could get on the 6s plus. The only downside I cant squeeze from the 6+ is the extra ram and the extra mega pixel

More like mimicking the feature on a 6s

1) 3D Touch
2) Live Photos
3) live wallpaper
4) 4K video (not true 4K but a blown up mp video)
5) haptic feedback
6) front flash (customizable)

More to come

Yap agreed. Almost all jailbreak tweaks are covered in the new iOS
Though there are some tweaks that are not like f.lux and Swipeshiftcaret
Theming I stick to Springtomize 3

i agree as well, i used to be crazzy about jailbreaking but now with my 6S plus, just dont feel like i want to, though i wish they have an option to turn off 3/4 G on the airdrop menu or something like that instead of wifi only

Looks like it no longer beta but ready for prime instead. No choice but have to wait for cydia to open for purchase. But on beta i must say its quite smooth like last time

To those who are wondering if jailbreaking will make your phone slower, some good people made a video to test this theory.

QUOTE

The conclusion seems to be that overall performance on jailbroken devices seems to be slightly impacted for every day use cases like opening apps and scrolling content. Although not really enough to notice. The main difference seems to be at a force reboot or full power up where the modified jailbroken system is likely executing untethered jailbreak code. Most users can probably live with that given the amount of times you actually power your device down.

I always knew the booting up process took longer but that was understandable given that it need to load the additional jb data. With the tweaks i need, i can live with those additional seconds when booting up.
