There are supposed to be over 8 million books. But the home page only shows 24 of these. How do we see the rest?

I am really sorry for that. We are still sorting out the categories. The best way find the books is by using our search.
If you viewing on mobile, click on the menu button, top right. You should see the search bar after the menu opens.
If you viewing on desktop, you should be able to see the search bar inside the orange navigation bar.

Is there any books in particular you have in mind? you could PM me the details and I'll try to find it for you.

Sorry, I was trying to browse. My mistake. I was using an old version of IE, and the orange bar didn't show any search. Loading your site in Chrome, I see the search now.

No problem at all. Out of curiosity, what version of IE were you using?

a lot of choices but could i know why your prices of books can be that high? as an example, alex ferguson's biography from mph is cheaper than the price your website have stated.

I'm new to online website buying but i always believe you can get cheaper and more choices compared to buying in person. From what i see, you got one thing right which is a lot of choices but the prices are kinda high.

Thank you for the feedback. Admittedly, there are some books which are more expensive on Corak.my, but there also a large number of books which are cheaper. It is one of our key objective to make our book prices consistently lower than what you can get from the bookstore. Obviously, we have not achieve that target, but rest assured we are working towards that goal.

greetings, appreciate the comment. Could i propose putting more focus on books that your website are selling cheaper than the outside places. That would give us a better assumption that your website do sell cheaper than bookstores out there. All in all, i look forward to future business with you. Thanks!

Could i ask whether do you carry trade in book?? I had few book I bought but that was no intention I want to keep, so in order I can clear my space, i would like to sell of with reasonable price.

i don't see any benefit by shopping online if the price is higher than the retail.

Look like a reselling website. 14-21 days waiting period look like TS is ordering from online book store and resell it. You can get cheaper (by half including shipping fees) books by buying direct online through the main online book store like Amazon and Bookdepo. The shipping period is less or about the same as TS's store.

For the benefit of LYNers not getting rip off.

Anyway, I would like to address some issues that has been raised since I last posted.

1) Price is higher than bookstore.

As I've mentioned before, there are books that are more expensive but at the same time, there are a lot of other books that are cheaper.

For example, if you compare the first seven books under the Fiction category, you'll find that 6 out of 7 are cheaper at Corak than at Kinokuniya. Below are the links for comparison:

2) Corak is reselling books from Amazon and Bookdepository.

This allegation is not true. Corak doesn't resell books from Amazon, Bookdepository or any other bookstore. We are still relatively new compared to the other bookstores but we are continuously improving. For example, the shipping duration has dropped to 7-14 days. And that is not even our final target. We are working to further reduce the shipping time, to below 7 days.

We are definitely not trying to rip off anyone. Yes, there are a lot of faults and weaknesses. But none of it was done to intentionally misdirect or make a quick buck from our customers.

3) Does Corak accept trade-in books?

Sorry, but at the moment, we do not accept trade-ins.

Alright, will compare the price around if cheaper then will buy from corak~ If shipping less than 7 days then even better~

The price kinda cheaper than Kinokuniya on some/most books at Corak.com (10-20% off). Luckily, I stumbled upon this thread cuz I am a heavy books buyer, with a wide variety of books that I can browse on, Im pretty much excited and happy with it cuz lots of books that I really want is only available in Corak.com or Kinokuniya. But with 10%-ish off price range that Corak offered, Im gonna lean on to buying at Corak. I really hope that in the future you guys can offer a wrapping/gift service just like in Kino. Just my 2 cents. But so far im pretty much excited to purchase books in Corak soonnnn.

The gift wrap option is an excellent idea. It is definitely something that we would like to add to Corak.my in the future.

Just a quick update since my last post here, we have actually improved our shipping times. It is now less than 7 working days
