Hi guys,

I have been appointed by MIUIAndroid to do Malay translation for MIUI ROM. I guess some of you already used MIUI ROM for your Android phone. For those who still do not have idea what MIUI is all about, you can refer here -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIUI . The project that i'm in right now is here -> http://miuiandroid.com

This is the chance for you to see MIUI ROM in Malay language! I know some of the words in English will sound funny when translated to Malay language and now this is our opportunity to fix it and do better translation.

I can do all the translation by myself but for sure it will take time to finish. That's why i'm looking for team mate to complete this project as soon as possible. No matter you are Malay, Chinese, Indian or other races in Malaysia, make Malaysian proud! This is the time for us to contribute to Malaysian community.

p/s : The task is not that hard. We just need to translate the xml file contents from English to Malay, that's all. The problem is, there are more than 1000 lines that need to be translated, that's why i need a team to complete this task  Since MIUI ROM released every week, hopefully we can see Malay language MIUI ROM by early 2014

Yup, BM nowadays is not native anymore. Too many bahasa pinjaman.

For example, fee in English.
Nowadays, if you look carefully, everyone started to use fi in BM.
It is supposed to be yuran.

Another word is declaration.
In BM, it is supposed to be pengisytiharan instead of deklarasi.

Only translate the words which I bold above, before </string> No need to change or translate words which in " ".

Guys, before this I have been appointed by MIUIANDROID to lead this task. Today, Officially Xiaomi appoint me to handle this project. I'm really grateful to have a great forummer friends who willing to help me before. Now they want me to shortlisted who's going to be my team mate and later we will form an official group of Malay translator.

p/s. Those who already done this task before, u knew that this task is not easy. Please PM me if u still want to be in my group. This project is monitored directly from Xiaomi.

Exactly bro. More people, the work can be done faster. But unfortunately, there are few translators who are not serious to do this when I sent him the task. What I mean not serious is, that guy never update me whether he did the task or having problem to do it or whatever reason. He keep quiet just like that. We do not need this kind of person because this project is HUGE! Because of these 2 people, this project still left another 15% 

If he cannot do the task, just let me know. I will assign it to others.

That's why now I'm looking for a serious team mate. Now we have new direction from Xiaomi, and the task become tougher.

I will update at the front page the do and don't document for our reference when doing this project. See post #2
