Boustead Plantations Bhd aims to expand its total planted area to about 91,000 hectares over the next five years from the current 71,000 ha.
The plantation group, which is en route to a main board listing, said it would acquire existing plantation estates and plantation reserve land to expand its land bank.
"As we move forward, we plan to expand our land bank through the acquisition of existing plantation estates and plantation reserve land primarily in Malaysia," Boustead Plantations Bhd chairman Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin said.
"As part of our long term growth strategy, over the next five years, we are targeting to increase our total planted area by approximately 20,000 ha from the current 71,000 ha," he told reporters at the launch of Boustead Plantations' initial public offering prospectus.

cimb can apply.... i got no cimb account.... maybank is yet to open for application..... will try some if open.... boustead, more than 100 years experience in plantation.....>60% of its trees in prime age, high yield... and el nino sets in recently, less supply = higher cpo price....

somemore Raya is near, demand will be higher.... and maybe Boustead is issuing this IPO to give Raya angpao before raya.....hehe.... RM 1.60, still reasonable to me..... if compared to similar player, sarawak oil palm (RM 6.90), TH plant (RM 2.10)....

MITI has allocated 5k units of BPB to me.
I apply 20k units initial.
Can I know that can I still apply through public share offered for BPB IPO?
