for me,i dont hate nor do i think its wrong for vincent tan to do what he want to do

its his club
he pay for it
he spends millions on the club

he is the owner.he can do whatever he want

if they say, club is made up of fans,

do they mean the club can only operate because fans go to matches,in turn generate profit for the club from ticket sale?

then show ur resolve by not going to the matches.

stop him from getting profit from the ticket sale

then, maybe he would listen to the fans.what the fans want and dont want

that used to be the case.

but now I read that TV royalties are the main source of income for professional sports clubs.

even if stadium is empty they still get money from matches shown on tv.

and since it's pay tv the royalties are higher....

well, still worth it if they stick by the principle of "club made up by fans"

dont go

i think, even somebody as vincent tan would be worry when the stadium is completely void of fans for every matches

it should triggered a response from tan, hopefully a positive one

the man u fans tried something similar (newton heath club), but ultimately they failed due to several reasons, among them:

1. the glazers respected the man u heritage by not changing/destroying the jerseys, logo or any other sacred heritage/tradition.

2. the club made money from sponsorship deals and merchandise and don't have to rely on local fans so much

3. the owners did not intrude on the day-to-day management of the club and supported almost every player buying/selling without forcing any spending limit (at least within their financial and regulatory means, UEFA will impose financial fair play to curb big spending clubs etc)
*
more reason for cardiff fan to do what the man u fans failed to do
