Haiz, because of politics, I have to wear the same style of clothing with my colleagues, and because of politics, i need to stay back late just because they told me to. Anyway I not really like to be involved in politics, but what can i do? I think for now I must gain as much experience as i could then after this i prefer to do free lance which i think wont have much problem about politics among colleagues...

QUOTE(pizzicato @ Jul 1 2006, 12:54 AM) ya la..we in the same boat..but now i'm back to study..so temporarily avoid from politics..hehe~ Ya, agree with you. I'm a quiet person too and do the task as asked. Dunno why they still want to get me involved in politics. we did nothing..but donno why sometimes ppl like to make politics on u...myself is a very quiet person but friendly..see ppl i got smile to them while in office..but then still also can't avoid involving in politics~ those bad ppl still like to hate and talk bad on u..donno why~~ QUOTE(sunbeams @ Jul 1 2006, 04:17 AM) Actually, smiling is the most dangerous form of office politics. It's a necessary evil. Hmmm for me I dont trust anyone at my work place and I never treated them as friend. I only treat them as my work colleague. I'm a kind of person that dont like to mix my work life with my personal life. How genuine is a smile, you wouldn't know, would you? How sincere is your colleague, you can't tell if he's the one who stabbed you. Watch your enemies, but be even more careful of those who call themselves 'friends' |

QUOTE(fraulein @ Jul 3 2006, 10:36 AM) Another way for you to counter office politics is to be an absolute 'lone ranger' who works for work. There's 2 colleagues who practice that and nobody even bother to gossip about them, cause there's nothing to gossip! Good idea there QUOTE(quintessential @ Jul 3 2006, 12:36 PM) Hi, may I know what knowledge you mean? Politic knowledge or work knowledge? This post has been edited by Shinichi: Jul 3 2006, 08:34 PM |
