Haiz, because of politics, I have to wear the same style of clothing with my colleagues, and because of politics, i need to stay back late just because they told me to. Anyway I not really like to be involved in politics, but what can i do? I think for now I must gain as much experience as i could then after this i prefer to do free lance which i think wont have much problem about politics among colleagues...

In order to enjoy myself inside the office, i prefer to play a little bit of politics inside the office...biggrin.gif

So whenever i make any mistakes or anything i just smile a bit and it all should be forgiven / forgotten tongue.gif

Wah, smile also a kind of politic?

myself hate politics..eg. those CEO or MD secretary usually sure they start politics.. make everybody like scare them and must respect them because in organisation chart, CEO come down is their secretary or PA ma.. tongue.gif

if a colleague don like u and she always involve in politics, sure she will talk bad on u..then your time in office will be very difficult to pass by~~

Ya, agree with you. I'm a quiet person too and do the task as asked. Dunno why they still want to get me involved in politics. sweat.gif

Actually, smiling is the most dangerous form of office politics. It's a necessary evil.

How genuine is a smile, you wouldn't know, would you?

How sincere is your colleague, you can't tell if he's the one who stabbed you.

Watch your enemies, but be even more careful of those who call themselves 'friends'

Hmmm for me I dont trust anyone at my work place and I never treated them as friend. I only treat them as my work colleague. I'm a kind of person that dont like to mix my work life with my personal life.

Hi, just curious how can you behind all of those politics? Is it because you are on a higher rank of the coporate ladder now? Or you are the boss now?

Another way for you to counter office politics is to be an absolute 'lone ranger' who works for work. There's 2 colleagues who practice that and nobody even bother to gossip about them, cause there's nothing to gossip!
*
Good idea there tongue.gif But if like this I think they can hardly get a promotion. Maybe Im wrong though...

QUOTE(quintessential @ Jul 3 2006, 12:36 PM)
if your colleague is not willing to share his knowledge, voila!

Hi, may I know what knowledge you mean? Politic knowledge or work knowledge?
