Hi just joined this forum and sorry if it has been asked before.

Planning our first ever ski/winter trip to Seoul/Nami in mid Dec.

Main concern - clothings. What type? Where to find? Price range?

I also have 70yo mom & 9yo son with me in this trip.

Thanks much.

Im going mid dec with our son & 70 yo mom. We plan to book a 2 bedroom apartment via airbnb and then free & easy itinerary to suit our convenience and pace. We have done all our annual trips free & easy so far and have never joined a tour. So much easier to sleep or wake up at our own time. We dont normally cramp all the tourist destinations into a single trip. We take it easy and enjoy at our pace. If days where my mom or son is tired, we send them back to the apartment to rest & watch TV after lunch and my spouse & I continue exploring/shopping till our feet ache. At the end of the day, to each is own. Happy planning!

great pricing there.
wondering will there be any air ticket adjustment since the announcement of DCA fee hike on airlines  hmm.gif

There is no fare adjustments for tickets that already been issued. Bought it from Matta fair so I have issued it within the offer weekend.

For those who have booked but not issued the ticket yet, then yes, adjustments apply accordingly.

aww...smucked....by your meaning not issued ticket yet = check-in right?  sad.gif
hope they keep drag until come into an agreement after june  biggrin.gif

For MH, you can book but dont issue ticket. Check in is totally a different thing.
For commercial airlines you can book your ticket but dont need to pay until you issue it (thru travel agent).
If book via MH online, then you have to pay & issue at the same time.
For budget airlines, you need to pay & issue immediately at the same time as well.

their winter definitely end of the year..its started around november..but sometimes winter might come a bit late..so december or january the best..but do note that the winter in korea is way much colder compared to japan.

Any chance of snowfall in early to mid Dec? And around what temp to expect pls?

I know there is no light show in winter but is it still worth the cruise in Han River in winter?

Is it worth going to the Garden of Morning Calm in winter? Seems like transportation back to Seoul is a problem unless you join a private tour at KRW75,000 per person.
