There's a 10% duty + 10% VAT. Plus most computer hardware are imported. So buying parts there definately more expensive than M'sia.

Back when the exchange rate was KRW1000:RM2.85, I was surveying at Yongsan, almost everything is slightly more expensive than buying from Lowyat. Now the exchange rate is 3.3x!

I'll be going alone from KL but will be visiting a korean friend on some days during the whole trip. so yeah would be very glad if i could find a travel companion or 2...! And since I'm going alone, its safe to say I'm kinda planless on what to do there and would be moving according to the situation hahaha

Seoul can stay at W-house at Sinchon. You will have a whole room (soho style) with kitchen for yourself. Literally everything provided + free wifi egg & T money.

Dear Mr Billy Goh,

Since no one reply to you, I can give u a few good tips... Mid April weather of Busan will be just perfect as long you are wearing a jacket with a long pants. Yes, MOST PROBABLY will be below 20 degree celcius but it wont be anyway too COLD for comfort.

Thanks & have a great and safe holiday.

Interesting. I will be in Korea until April 1-12. You're in Korea already, right? If you're like me, then you might want to check out Seoul Motor Show in KINTEX, they hold the event from April 3-12. I'm actually planning to go seeing sakura blossoms on April 4 with my friend. Still haven't finished my itinerary tho. hmm.gif

Hi all, I'm going to Seoul next week. I didn't buy the AirAsia check-in baggage when going to Seoul, but I bought the 40kg when return.

May I know if I can check-in an empty large luggage to Seoul (without buying check-in baggage)?
