QUOTE(sw1314 @ Aug 4 2021, 02:01 PM) both also malaysia brand oem in china, it depends which model u r comparing rather the brand. If u pick a RM 1000 livinox and compared with a rm 2000 then not same d. Livinox Mica is not bad and ez to clean, modern design, affordable price. then u can compare with senz which model u like |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Jun 30 2021, 09:30 PM) rm 4k budget for a hood is very high. Hi zheilwane, top range under fotile is emg9030 or ems9016, both also below rm 4k https://buildershardware.com.my/product/emg9030/ how do you compare this fotile top end with this bosch serie 8 hood? From the available data, not that straight forward. https://www.bosch-home.com.my/product-list/...oods/DWB91PR50A |

ok will compare with fotile EMG9030 1) Suction POwer Bosch : 964 m³/h (should b using IEC standards also) Fotile : 1200 m³/h (using IEC standards) - international method or in malaysia many use labtest or unrestrained flow then it is 1700 m³/h 2) motor type Bosch : AC motor (same as other brands) fotile : DC motor (silent) 3) FIlter Bosch : mesh filter (restrict air flow, like wearing face mask, hard to breath) FOtile : Surround wing plate + Baffle filter (maximize air flow yet with more than 90% oil filtration) 4) Noise level Bosch : 64db Fotile : 48 db (with several patented tech & DC motor) 5) Technogies bosch : Nothing special, cant find any info in their web Fotile : 1) INTELLIGENT SELF-ADJUSTING Smart Wing-like Surround Suction Plate 2) Smart Smoke Detection 3) Powerful DC motor with 720 Pa (regular hood 250 - 350) 4) Intelligent Air Management 5) Aerodynamic interior design for lower noise level This post has been edited by zheilwane: Aug 8 2021, 10:23 AM Headsup! liked this post

QUOTE(CanSino @ Aug 23 2021, 10:45 PM) higher suction power = higher noise level unless got special tech to reduce noisealso dont rely 100% on catalog spec and many brands test and report LOWEST speed noise level (dB). if u see a noise level that is very low and there is no explanation how they achieve so = the figure is lowest speed db two hoods with low noise 1. Fotile JQG9009T because it has DC motor 2. Fotile EMS9016 because it has aerodynamic interior design |

Hi all
I have been using Fotile gas hobs for the past 7 years, During the period, I have replaced 2 inner burners and one outer burner. Currently, both my inner burners need to be replaced. The flame intensity and poping sound have been an issue. Fotile suggested GAG86210 gas hob. I was also recommended Livinox LGH ACER 2BF BL hob. I have a budget of RM1K. What's your opinion? Should I get the replacement part, get Fotile or Livinox hob? Thanks in advance Sifus |

Thanks in advance Sifus GAG86210 got instant ignition, 60% burning efficiency, anti explosion glass, more stable flame as it is fixed and not removable 1 Possible reason : Do not put wet pots above the burners, as burner too hot + water (sudden change in temperature) over time could cause the burners to deform or go out of shape. or frequent overspill could cause the same issue Both hobs also consider high spec products. Anyone used this before?
Hood Electrolux EFC928SC - I like that it has a steam self clean function... But not sure if it's a gimmick or something that actually works For hob, i'm thinking about getting Rinnai RB-93UG. The problem with the above setup is, you won't get as nice a price if you buy in a hood and hob set from same vendor? Current thought Rinnai RB-93UG hob + Electrolux EFC928SC hood Considering Electrolux EGT9637EG hob + Electrolux EFC928SC hood Or Rinnai RB-93UG hob + Rinnai RH-C91A-SSVR hood I guess the main difference is the steam self clean feature that Electrolux has, and I can't see any such features in the Rinnai hood. Any advice? Thanks |

QUOTE(eltaria @ Sep 14 2021, 07:51 PM) Anyone used this before? i bought a steam gun from lazada to test, didnt work. grease is too sticky. U need a strong degreaser to really clean the hood. WHen water mix with dirt, ofcoz u will see the water turn yellowish but 90% will still b up there. Hood Electrolux EFC928SC - I like that it has a steam self clean function... Thanks If u notice most of the hoods that promote auto clean, they never really do a full demo with the actual product to show u the inside before and after, only show u the yellowish water that flows down If u only have the two options above then i would go with full set rinnai instead of mixing the brand This post has been edited by zheilwane: Sep 14 2021, 08:13 PM |
