Hi. Just wanna ask what is the best T-shape hood available from Fotile. I wanted to go for JQC9009T but slanted style does not suit my kitchen as I want to hide the hood behind the cabinets door? This is for open plan kitchen, so need to be powerful and quiet. Any suggestions from any other brand also is ok. Budget below 4k

rm 4k budget for a hood is very high.

top range under fotile is emg9030 or ems9016, both also below rm 4k

Thank you. Stated price for emg9030 there is about 5k++.. even more expansive. 😅 Maybe will go for EMS9016 later. Technically how is this compared to JGG9009T? Still good? Sorry, first time surveying good hood. Previously just take whatever cheap.

RM5k is the list price before discount, lazada selling RM 4.3k but i can offer less than rm 4k.

EMG9030 performance is similar to JQG9009t because it is also using DC motor and with self adjusting plate to lower the suction point, EMG 9030 noise level is lower with patented aerodynamic design inside the hood.

Fotile just launched their latest table top 4 in 1 oven,

Based on this image, if I was to install this hood as recirculation mode, as I understand the minimum height of the hood and it's chimney is 598mm - how much space from the top of the hood should i allocate between it and the ceiling?

no standard, i would say as much as possible, ideal more than 1 feet but most people do not have tat much space. the higher the suction power of the hood, the more space u need for wind to blow out smoothly.

reason is if gap too small, air hard to come out, if ceiling high enough, cabinet dont do full height, let the air blow side ways above the cabinet then that way u dont need more gab at the top as wind will b blowing side ways

sabaf is jus italian brand burner, if u notice many brands also got sabaf burners but most of them have low kW.

the livinox and rubine models +- same jus eureca glass is 8mm, thicker and some material better, performance they are all lebih kurang

downdraft also need to install ducting, which condo usually dont allow, if they allow u to hack a duct hole at the wall then u can still consider downdraft
