So someone ship my Xbox from Singapore to here with Pos Malaysia
Unfortunately, it is now detained by custom
And so Pos Malaysia mail me a stupid letter, with 2 papers,
Stating my item is now detained by custom, and i have 3 option,
1, go and clear myself
2, assign pos malaysia to collect
3, assign someone else to collect


And because 1 is impossible for me, it's too far from my area to KLIA
So I'd to chooose 2nd option

I filled up that form, and scan to into computer
E-mailed them to pos malaysia.


BUT UNTIL NOW I DON'T EVEN GET A f***ING RESPONSE, IT'S BEEN 3 DAYS AGO !!!!
AND WHEN I CALL THE LINE STATED IN THE MAIL, THEY DON'T ANSWER TOO...
f*** WRONG IS THEM... !

just call longer, thats your only chance. wat to do...gomen related companies.

maybe you could google other numbers, might helpful. god knows how long the slip has been used, and not updated.

the coordination between buyer and seller is very important. knowing xbox as electronic device taxable in M'sia the seller should advise buyer best method to go around it or deny the deal.

anyhow, you can go to nearest pos besar in your state and present them the letter. get them to clear for you.

Just wait patiently for the postman to come then pay a sum of fee for the handling fee

I thought maybe someone here recently have the same experience, and wanted to know how they solve it

best is to go there and get it yourselves bro. been there a bunch of times ady. too many hassle but takes too long when they take care of the things for you. plus its a definite that you gotta pay from their calculation. i mean if u go there, maybe can talk the value down a little bit to avoid/reduce the tax.

Problem is going there myself, cost me rm200 return transportation ....
Because I am student, don't have car = =, my dad have to work..

I supposed is d latest spanking, bad boy, Xbox One!

Did they specify the reason(s) for d item for being detained?
eg.

1. Taxation - was d item declared as gift OR comes wif commercial invoice?
2. Electrical safety - testing & approval by JBE?
3. Connectivity compliance - testing & approval by MCMC?
3. Bundled DVDs - contains graphical cover, title, content etc.?

Pos M'sia KLIA sucks! I've called them a bunch of times today and yesterday but they never answer the damn phone -- all you get is their stupid voice mail. lol

At least you got a letter from them! Customs didn't even inform me that my stuff was impounded; I only found out about it by checking online using my tracking number! Like you, I've also sent them an email requesting Pos M'sia to secure the release of my parcel from customs. Right now, I'm hoping the customs email address isn't a fake one! lol

I finally called Pos M'sia KLIA this morning and they said customs is holding my shipment for inspection. FYI, they're Hasegawa model kits from HLJ, and the total cost (incl EMS shipping) was RM715. There's a big possibility that I might be taxed for the items, but I don't feel like paying. I think I'm going to ask customs to ship the items back to Japan. lol

Have u tried calling Pos Malaysia Mail & Courier Centre - 0387773777. I called there once when tracking my delayed Amazon package. The operator was quite helpful...

Yeah, I did that bro. Problem is, I already know that customs is withholding my shipment -- but they're supposed to send me a letter informing me of the seizure, right? My stuff came in on Christmas eve and until now I've yet to receive any letter from them.

Bro, if you want this BS settled quickly, I think it's better that you go there and deal with them personally. Anyway, I went to KLIA this morning and paid 10 percent tax on my stuff, which came up to RM75. Not that bad I must admit.
