QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jan 4 2014, 03:05 AM) *Serious reply* Last time one bro helped me to get it at 190. Toys R Us and Brickboys are selling minifigures at RM12.90 per pack. Of course we wouldn't always get the complete set and will not be able to open up the packaging to see what's inside. However if we take it that luck is on our side, a full set would be RM12.90 * 16 = RM 206.40. If you were to import a box of 60, you usually can get it around RM500-650 I believe. Local resellers (ie, sellers here in LYN) usually sells within the range of RM180 - RM220 for a full set of 16 minifigures for newer series. However for those individual minifigs for any series, the price will differ based on the current market value. They may be higher or lower depending on the rarity of the minifigure in a box of 60. At the same time, it's also affected by the after market price. So you may sometimes end up having to pay more than RM12.90 for a minifigure because the after market price increases due to again, rarity. As a summary, for any new series of minifigure, it would be reasonable if you sell a complete set within the range of RM180 - RM220 depending on your cost. Loose minifigs from the box of 60 can then be sold at a different price depending on the market rate. For example, Yeti sold at a lower price because if has 6 of them in a box of 60 while Island Warrior is sold at a higher price because it only has 2 in a box of 60. maybe his one is chromed silver, hence the premium. Or maybe justin bieber touched it b4? |

Actually i have a question on storage of lego boxes. How to you store them? Opened ones I stack them up like wallpaper. The windows are never opened. But somehow the smell of boxes fills up the entire room. I have tried using those tasty hyppo type stuff to absorb the moisture but the same smell still ada.
Any ideas? |

QUOTE(maxilife1 @ Jan 7 2014, 03:07 PM) this one look like lego factory. hahhaha....QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jan 7 2014, 04:49 PM) I also have that smell, I supposed once you have enough of those boxes in one room the smell becomes very obvious. I even had charcoal in the room but that doesn't seem to work. In the end I spread them all over the house (wherever I can find space to stash my loot) and the smell is gone from the room. I also use those cling wrap films to wrap the boxes (opened and unopened ones) and that may be the solution... i noticed if i open the doors or windows, the smell is less. hhmmmm... maybe time to invest in a humidifier... hahahhah... i hope some of the newer style boxes like advent calender (glossy ones) shouldnt have smell over time... QUOTE(cuteliz @ Jan 7 2014, 05:09 PM) HK definitely cheaper la if u know where to go. Some more if you buy loads and hand carry u prob save on the 10% tax. problem is transporting it back. QUOTE(zemperor @ Jan 7 2014, 10:43 PM) i'm just open my boxes and flat it, all keep inside my mobile crane MKII I sakit hati to flatten them la. i m box hugger... |

QUOTE(mchw08 @ Jan 8 2014, 10:44 AM) its not gonna be cheap with our MYR now... i expect to be above RM220 upwards. But whatever it is will be cheaper than RM659. QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jan 8 2014, 11:09 AM) Hi all, kudos to your effort, again. Based on the few feedback I got regarding the Lego Movie gathering date, I realized most will be away for the whole week during CNY and won't be able to make it for the gathering. As such, I've decided to change the date to 16th February, Sunday afternoon/late afternoon instead. It's after the 15 days of CNY and I know the next day is a school day hence will try to book for an afternoon movie instead of night. Location will remain the same and ticket price is to be confirmed still. Let me know if this is a more preferred date and if you're interested, please do fill up the form below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/11QoZN9rsvn...ni1umA/viewform Thanks guys and girls!! |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jan 9 2014, 09:13 AM) There's actually a picture of the invisible jet if this is real, must buy. i always like clear parts! ![]() Found from http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/File:LEGO-Super...013-300x253.jpg QUOTE(Chaud @ Jan 9 2014, 09:40 AM) Power reseller prob 700+?QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jan 9 2014, 09:41 AM) Go do a bit of research please. Actually now that I look at the house interior, it's supposed to be pink/purplish wall but it's most probably not possible since the wall pieces are the same ones which constructs the exterior wall. If only they have dual colored pieces come to think of it, probably possible. since its modular piece count territory. hahahhaa... If licensed theme with such high piece count can be 199.99, I was hoping Lego own theme with high piece count will be 159.99. *dreaming on* |
