does anyone ever successfully using the camera from any android phone as a native USB webcam for windows pc? im looking to shoot some guitar cover and i need HD camera for quality purposes.

i tried ip webcam application, and its freaking bad. very laggy and cant be recorded.

My setting is always on wifi. Before 4.3 was ok. Batt was godly. After 4.3 now its ticking. Already using static ip to s4. Ssigh....

installed the russian kit kat fw i9500. and guess what, 5 apps with russian text added including ozon.ru.

wtf are these??

after flashing last night, charged to 100, disabled those russian apps, and went to sleep. did some heavy whatsapp around morning. gsam reported used 23% in 13h 30m. pretty sweet.

oh and i am stock user, non rooted. everything is smooth. though previous fw also smooth. however, wakelock detector cant use after kitkat update. they have a workaround but i dont have the time to do it yet.

successfully rooted my 9500. screw the warranty.

yeah. now, which mod i should install first. heres my checklist for the time being.

1) remove bloatwares
2) want nexus 5 look

any favourite debloater script to recommend?

smokin nice man wanamlite on 3g s4. my battery life minimum 1day 5hrs heavy whatsapp, heavy browsing, lite utube. very satisfied rooting this baby.

anyone has recommendation on google play edition of 3g s4 rom?

tried cm11 on my 9500 yesterday. battery is shit. full charge at around 3am , woke up at 8am 15% left. this appear in wakelock in betterbatterystats.

exynos5-fimc-is awake all the time. googled but still no answer. anyone knows?

yeah. camera app. uninstalled google camera, currently on stock CM11 camera app. rebooted the phone too due to "unable to access camera". right now quite ok but still not up to par to omega rom i used before this.

but but.. i like the nexus look. or should i say the CM looks and feel.

sigh, ever since my flash to cm11, then back to omega, then wanam, my 9500 has this wlan_rx_wake wakelocks.before flashing to cm11 it was no problem. very frustrated.

theres no security policy updates in that security menu. using omega v20 (4.4.2). i9500.

im starting to hate my s4 now. ive reflash omega again since last flash didnt settle the wakelocks problem. wiped everything, even reformat sdcard. only installed whatsapp, betterbatterystats and gsam battery manager. disabled every samsung gimmick shit like air view blah blah.

guess what, the phone didnt even deep sleep ever since i unplugged. bbs partial wakelock has these two items : checkin handoff and system update services, both are from google play services. WTF is up?

yeah im pretty mad.
