Why it is so long to wait for the Official KitKat Update !  sleep.gif  yawn.gif

I'm actually more concerned about whether after updating to KitKat, the phone becomes laggy and stuff. sweat.gif

That's the thing.
I have some friends say it's very smooth and faster boot and I have some friends that say it made the phone even laggier hahaha rclxub.gif

No such issue for me. Same even after turning on or off power saving mode.

after update to kitkat,my i9500 samsung keyboard cannot change input language, any of u having similiar problems?
*
I can change mine. Have you add other languages into Samsung keyboard in settings?

I did not factory reset my phone after the update and it works perfectly fine. Very satisfied.

anyone noticed that after the update 4.4, the battery indicator became white? any ways to change it to green?
*
It is the changes of KitKat whereby the notification bar becomes white and no longer colored. No way to change it back to green.

There's one more bug. Each time when you cold boot your device, you cannot enter the PIN number(if you set it on the device) until several seconds later which the prompt will be displayed or until you turn off, and then turn on the screen.

Yep...having this issue too. Thought it was only me. Did you factory reset your phone though? Because I did not and I thought that might be the cause. rclxub.gif

The camera seems to start up quite slow after a long time from using the phone without restarting it (after tapping on camera, instead of instantly ready to capture pictures, it shows as black for approximately 5 seconds before I can see any picture). But after restarting it, the camera starts up at normal speed again (able to see images the moment I tap on camera). Anyone facing this issue? Not sure whether if it's KitKat update but I seldom use the camera on 4.3 too so I'm not sure.

And I've not installed any apps for months just for Kitkat. Lots of disappointment.

And the battery drain that surfaced since 4.3 hasn't been ironed out at all. shakehead.gif

Weird. My battery greatly improved after update to KitKat.

Do you utilize the mobile data function often?

Yeah, it is always on when I'm in college. From morning till evening around 6+, my battery would still have around 30-40%.
