A little update, I previously posted about my sandisk 32GB class 10 being very slow. Well, I decided to test it again today and it's fast again! Wonder if the new update changed anything...

Hi all S4 sifus.

I just bought a brand new S4 LTE model and was unpacking and peeling away all the transparent films/stickers that came with it.

I happen to notice that the rear camera lens too (might) have a transparent film pasted over it. Is it safe to peel it away, exposing the lens or leave it intact? I do noticed a slight blurriness in my photos taken.

now, here is so dead already.

Mine is after press the shuttle button, still need a few secs to take the  photo. Causing photo to always blur when taking moving objects. I already disabled the auto low light mode.
Given up,  so basic camera feature also Sammy screw up and no fix in sight. Now I use my tablet take photo.

Yes I know. But already turn off auto light adjustment. It should stay the focus that I pressed on the screen b4 press shuttle. It should not refocus every time I press shuttle. What is the point I focus nice nice first before press shuttle? My s3 don't act weird like this.
Anyway to turn off the auto refocus? Or auto iso adjustment? As I said,  I already turn off auto light adjustment.

Any way to express change to HDR mode from single shooting mode except manually go to settings there?

Ok then. I can concur s3 sensor is better than s4 even when s4 has more megapixel. Every time my photo blur, I swap to s3 take same photo, no issue. I can can do that Bcoz I passed on the s3 to my wife and it is always with us.
So the fruit is correct, it's the sensor and capability to let in light that counts, not the high MP.

the problem is sometimes, we don't have the time or the knowledge to do manual setting.

just want to take a simple photo with auto setting and yet the picture is not blur.

is there any app to take photos better at low light in s4

Usually you have to manually select it.

Anyway, since when holding the shutter on-screen button activates the HDR? For all i know, it only activates burst-mode, if u enabled it in the settings menu.

my s4 suddenly gets hot only some times not always, like this night i kept under pillow morning wake up too hot battery finished. could it be board problem or it is normal some times.

I'm also experienced the camera launching quite slow, but i'm okay with it.

But i'm just not impressed with the quality of the picture when i snap it at night, eventhough i use the Night Mode.

For me. I will not wait for official Malaysia kitkat. Since now the wanam custom room is stable, then I recommend you try that rom. Now my phone version is 4.4.2 kitkat and I experience smooth ui and overall performance boost a lot. If you don't want custom rom and still wanna stick with 4.3 you can try this method.
Root your phone, go to playstore download Trickster Mod. Launch the app and go to io scheduler and change to deadline. Read ahead buffer size change to 2048. Apply.

Next go to developer settings. Change all animation scale to 0.5x. Tick Force GPU rendering, Enable MSAA 4X and graphic overlay. Reboot phone and you will feel the difference.
