If u scared losing your imei, just backup them using apps like efsbackup from googleplay, need root access though.
Btw, about your firmware, u can flash latest firmware from sammobile.com. just pick malaysia as country, download it n flash using odin. I recomend I9500XXUEMK8 its jB room as i want to stay away from kitkat for now. Btw im using I9500XXUEMK8 (Black Edition ) firmware on my s4. nothing change though only different wallpaper and startup sound, kinda ugly imo.

Lets back to start, how did u brick ur s4? flash wrong firmware/ custom rom? If yes, its normal bcoz the efs partition is corrupted. As long u flash the right firmware for ur phone it will be fine ( dont try to downgrade 4.3 to 4.2 though it will brick ur phone due to knox bootloader blocking the flash)

Here the things u should do.
1.download andromizer, go to tools, choose imei backup/restore. select backup.(again, need root) save a copy to pc.
2. Download the right firmware, either gti9500 or 9505(lte version).Check ur s4 model.
3.flash using odin, plz make sure re-partion is UNTICK.
4.always do factory reset before and after flashing new firmware.

Normal flashing with the right firmware will not make ur imei lost. hell, i even flash the black edition on my s4.u just need to know what are u doing.

I think the key problem here is u bricked u phone before and the important part is how did u manged to brick it?? That will answer y u lost ur imei imo.

can set for miss call and sms ..it will sound until u read 
but i need something like that for whatsapp and FB messenger as well

Do make a Nandroid Backup before flashing. Once finished flash my rom, directly go to Philz Settings and apply a Re-Root options (Not sure if TWRP supported this). Once booted, install SuperSU from google play.

It is a waste if you downgrade to N4, if N5, need to take a closer care on its battery life. Far from S4 performance.

Better find another used unit of S4, avoid LTE set.
