They are more interested in launching new phones without taking care of their existing customers. 

Actually, why the craze over software updates?  Are there some really major bugs and problems with your current version?

So that our phones runs at optimal condition and we get to enjoy the latest technology. 

i wonder too... just updated my wife's N3 to KitKat... few apps still not compatible such as AstroOntheGO (frequently used). Better to wait till all stable first and only update.

Technically, yes, reality, not so much. At first impression now, actually disappointed in it. Not much difference with S4 now. Not worth the upgrade from S4 to S5.

As a matter of fact, current S4 is even lighter and thinner than S5. So S4 still have its advantage.

We're going to have kitkat, same with it. That means the screen would likely looks almost the same. The extra sensors as such, is not useful for me. Since they concentrate on improving on the camera, guess that's what most ppl will divert their attention to.

Me ..having s4 ...lately this week ..noticed that my set is respond slow ..specially on the back button ...

Had google search for solution .. It said bcos of the update 4.3 ...
But all the comment comesfrom overseas ...

Anyone local ...user ..having this problem ...!!

4.3 stock user here. Also facing the same problem. Slow, and runs hot for no reason, and the battery life.. must've been sucked out by Satan.

I want to root but some friends advise me to wait for Kit Kat and "hope for the best." Thoughts?

I tried the option I mention, no big difference to the battery because before I touch the developer settings, I still gets battery draining from 4.3.  Now I running 4.4.2 with developer settings, I don't feel any difference for battery consuming compare to 4.3

For me, all animation scale to 0 and Nova animations to "Faster than light".  Everything is like instant.

will i9506 constantly receives software updates like i9500 and i9505? coz seem like i9506 is very minority in the market.

if i buy a foreign set (malaysia no i9506 ori set), i can still receive updates rite?
