Whoa ... I didn't know we can now purchase PSN games through the webpage using a PC. Back in the days, it can only be done using the console itself. Just to be safe, I've added Resogun and Contrast to the list before they are removed from the PS Plus freebies ... while waiting for PS4 to stock up. Sigh ... and I'm supposed to give away my PS3 this month. Dunno if can get a PS4 in 3 weeks time ...

After you click the 'shop now' link in Lazada, it shows page invalid. Guess they took it down.

Update : I've contacted HeavyArms and they have stock for walk-in customers. Gonna ponteng kerja tomorrow and get it. Mwa ha ha ha. With a 1-to-1 exchange policy for first month, who needs Sony Malaysia?

On the down side, price is RM1799. But that's the only choice to ease CNY boredom.

Ah, finally able to get a PS4 yesterday without needing to pre-order. Priced the same as Sony Malaysia but at least this place gives a 1-to-1 exchange if BLOD within one month. Felt more secured than getting from Sony.

Anyway, I did have a blonde moment when trying to power up the system. I was like "where's the power button".

One question for anyone who might have info. As we all know, it's an SEA warranty. Most of us will login to the Asia Sony webpage and register their product using a Malaysia PSN. But since it's an SEA warranty, has anyone registered using a Singapore PSN? Sony Singapore will most likely accept it but I was wondering if Sony Malaysia will have the records.

What game u recommend bro? Killzone? Battlefield? AC4?

Started playing KZ single player two days ago. Not liking it. It's something to show off, but not a single player total long-term game. No comment on multiplayer. Remote play is tuned well.

Contrast is what I classify as a 'free game'. Clunky and stiff. Resogun is great for a free game. In the midst of downloading DC Universe online. Free game too.

I find myself using IGN app most of the time.

Was testing remote play. Too bad it can't do RP while watching BR movies. But still can RP while running the IGN app. Later will be testing if the background download works while watching BR movies.

Hey guys. I just got my PS4 last Saturday. PSN is Akeevo. I was dissapointed because I wasn't able to get Killzone and AC4. Instead got Knack and NFS:Rival. Haish.... Need more games.

You looking for KZ? I'm having thoughts on selling it. No, I'm not trying to sell to you. Just that apart from being a technology showoff, many might not find the gameplay interesting. Sure, there are some great (or awesome) moments where you'd be like "whao, look at those graphics". But I find myself playing other titles like Resogun, Don't Starve and DC Universe.

And I'm still having second thoughts dwindling in my mind on whether I should get AC4. The gameplay is sure to be awesome. But then, it's something from previous gen and it might be better off playing on a PS3. Normally, I'll use the IGN app to view videos to have a close-enough feel of the graphics. Sure, the video is in 720p but you get the rough idea. And judging by the PS3-PS4 video comparison, I ain't seeing any leap in AC4. Having said that, graphics will only awe you got a few hours, then ultimately, gameplay is more important. And the smoother framerate of PS4 does help.

Anyone use external speaker for ps4 ?
*
Yup. I did try them on an external speaker. It was through the optical port. Funny thing is, even if you have set the optical port, there's still sound going through HDMI.

A reminder for all those who are planning to purchase a PS4 and already have PS Plus.

As you know, the free games will last as long as you are still a subscriber. But the game changes from month to month. You can't use your PS3 to purchase PS4 games before the free offer times out. However, you CAN use your PC to purchase PS4/PS3 games. So, log into your PSN PS Plus account via PC, purchase all the free games just to activate it. When you finally have your PS4, you can enjoy the 'previously free' games.

For example, Resogun is free in January. During then, PS4 stock might be hard to find. Say you managed to get a PS4 in March. But by then, Resogun might not be free anymore. So what you do is 'purchase' it now via PC. When you finally have your PS4 in March, Resogun is considered 'purchased' and it's free.
