Its normal for sports and fighting games usually. It is because these game need to be accurate and has no lag buffer like FPS. All sports games and fighter game has this problem. Most this game depends on the host also. If local means usually smoother.

I think how Sony MY is tracing is from their own database, they should have a database of serial numbers on the stocks sold/supplied by them. Any serial numbers not in their database should be deemed as "non-Malaysian set".
