1. fun or not, depends on the player actually. some ppl find it fun, some do not.
basically gw2 is 3 games in one
- PvE (open world, dungeons, living story, world bosses, personal story, dynamic events, quests, skyrim with friends etc)
- WvW (3 servers battle it out, dynasty warriors, romance of the 3 kingdoms)
- sPvP (team fortress 2, customize your own skills)

what else do you want to know?
what kind of mmorpg are you?
what do you seek to achieve?
please share with us your needs and wants.

2. yes. gw2 is very casual friendly. also, please define "end game content" since a lot people complain gw2 has no pve end game.
3. u would want to buy US (NA) version and join us on sea of sorrows servers. heroic version will do.

end game contents like :
1. DDN in dragon nest
2. Uber quest in diablo 3
3. Baphomet/Dark lord in Ragnarok 1

but i think after watch utube regarding the gameplay, i think this game worth a try... unfortunately at kuala terengganu nobody sell it.. demnit

Pity that their free trial period has ended.

This game doesn't really have an end-game content yet. Last I read they're still working on it. But you'll still be occupied by their current content, especially if you are a casual.

I'm quitting Neverwinter, planning to start GW2. hope to see you guys soon.

1. I noticed that this game is selling for about 29usd on Amazon. unfortunately non of them would sell to a Malaysian buyer.

2. you guys have any idea where I can get a 29usd Heroic edition (US) ?

3. how is the latency of this game for Msian players? Neverwinter was SO BAD.

afaik, the game is hosted on dallas.

at certain time, my connection to that area ping become double.
most time is ok.

i believe it's some server/network setting changes at that area during those period. as i been doing ping test over other us servers, it show that dallas area become poor at time.

If you are on Unifi/Time/Maxis, you can get 180-250ms 95% of the time. No need to use Proxy. Best mmo connection so far for me, really optimized.

My true opinion.
Casual Player should stay as far as possible from MMORPGs.

PC Game still the King of Content at the moment.
Unique game play, truly individual progression(single player after all).

Maybe i have to much social activities in my life. I just want to be alone when gaming...
