Hey guys! I will be away for vacation for 2 weeks. But here is the issue. I live alone and I have a car (Myvi). I'm wondering is it OKAY for the car if we don't start the engine for a long time e.g. 2 weeks?
I don't have anyone to help me taking care of my car while I'm away, so it will left alone. Some people said it is not good for not "warming up" the engine because it may bring damage to it, but some people said it's OKAY as take for example, people who left their car at the airport, who is look after their car?
Well, I'm confused.
Anyone who has experience in this, please advise.
Your car would be fine. Just take out the negative terminal of the battery if you are paranoid. If you don't know how to do that, take your car battery to charge at a mechanic a week before you go for vacation.I don't have anyone to help me taking care of my car while I'm away, so it will left alone.
