Received the OTA update..not sure if i should upgrade it.. Dont have any recovery installed...totally forgot the steps on how to flash reflash it laugh.gif

So either my update via OTA works or i have unroot..reflash down back .534 and update to .290 hmm.gif or maybe just forget root alltogether and update via PC Companion

Anyways..perfectly content with the current OS as it is..really not much of a noticeable difference between 4.2 & 4.3...

nope, reflashed my ftf and redo everything so the recovery gone ad.. the result is still quite unknown for now.. i posted a link earlier, there're different situation happened doh.gif

1. with recovery 100% going to fail of course.. or fail due to other reason
2. update and root access gone
3. update and retain partial root only

read from xda.. definitely no case that can update from OTA and retain full root.. sony did something i guess lol

Ah okay..so you do plan to update..okay let us know how it goes when you so do it smile.gif im keen to know if OTA without recovery works although im not planning to update unless i have the time to play with it which seems highly unlikely for now..

Need root on my phone laugh.gif
