I've not heard about powerbanks killing batteries faster. The salesman who sold me my Z1 at Pyramid told me removable batteries tend to swell after time. The built in ones are the best. I don't know if he told me that to convince me to buy the phone, but I'm inclined to believe him. My 4 year old iPhone is still on its first battery and it still lasts. My old Nokia batteries all swell after a while, even to the point of breaking the catch on the cover.

you mean become 'pregnant' battery? No need to be frequent charging, even not use, battery also become like that. I have 3 battery not use for so long, all 'pregnant'.... i put all inside a box... may be those battery making love each other inside... ahahaha

hahaha was very tempted actually, but the past days I've tried to "reason" with myself already. To me, the Z2 is not a significant improvement of the Z1, and the price to pay for it is not worth it to me. But what really sets me off is Sony will be constantly doing product reviews and releasing a new flagship every 6 months.

So I'll probably just wait for the even better "Z4" or "Z5" in 2015. haha
