I just got my Xperia Z1 recently and i seem to have a problem with the screen being active even when i am on call.
Is there a setting that i need to change? cant seem to find it

I ran the diagnostics thingy and it detects when i cover the proximity sensor...

Nope. Dialpad is not on. Happens with incoming calls. I cut off my call because it was active n I set my phone to airplane mode >.<

Lol.. But usually it touches my face when I talk.. The screen shouldn't be active when my face is near anyways..

Lol.. I'll try.. But I still think it shouldn't be like that ;(

Not sure if this question was posted before but couldnt find anything related to it.
Just wondering, is there an option to view the pictures that you take (using camera) when in WHatsapp before the app sends it?
Seems that my whatsapp will jus send the photo taken without giving me the option to retake...

hi~ ya.. thats one way.. but my bF's note 3 and my old iphone has the option to retake the pic (in whatsapp) if you use the camera..
was wondering if im missing some settings or its just not possible for z1...

Hi All.. Jus wondering if this is normal.. I have since turned off the backup data.. N it's currently at 0.94GB.. (as of 22nd Jan)



The next problem I have after I disabled the backup data is that my play store will act up n prompt as per the pic..

I already did that with the backup data running.. but if i do that.. the Android OS data will go up...




I havent uninstalled any games ~ ive ony been using the phone for 3 weeks

The background data is not disabled. Its in the data usage section rite? i didnt check to disable background data box..


ermm.. i got my phone on the 3rd of Jan.. i started using it on the 4th of Jan and did all the required updates and stuff within the next 2 days... which shouldnt be included in this cycle of data.. correct? cuz the cycle is set from 14th Jan onwards...
I didnt uninstall anything since its new.. barely had time to install other things.~ lol..

hrm.. maybe i will try to turn on my back up data again and see if it goes up.. if it doesnt then maybe i updated something...
but i dont recall that i did~

Its already set to that from day one. Update only on WIFI connection. I updated the OS using wifi as well..

Hi~ I think i saw that too.. thats why i disabled the back up thingy.. as for the syncing.. everything has been set to manual since day 1..

I think its caused by the back up thing.. where they back up everything to ur google~
i disabled that and the data usage for the Android OS background thing isnt going up that fast~

Hi all.. Not sure if this has been asked before..
I'm currently having issues with connecting to my office email (outlook exchange).. It worked for a week when I newly got my phone.. But now I keep getting this error 'unable to establish connection'..

Been trying to connect for the past 3 weeks.. I can connect using other phones n even tested with my colleagues logins.. All don't work on my Z1 but works on other Android phones..

Any advice would help.. Don't wanna use a third party app..
