RAM and hard disk should not be a consider factor when buying notebook as these part can be replace easily
rather CPU & GPU should be given a more consider role as these part cannot be replace and it will stick together with the notebook until you change a new notebook.
my suggest is always go for the latest Intel i7 and the best GPU that you can get.

QUOTE(shin2l @ Dec 25 2013, 01:49 PM) CPU and GPU also can be replaced, but need to depend on socket or solder, if soldered then cant be replaced or upgraded unless you are referring to brand like Sager or Illegear which the budget exceed a normal person need. plus you need to have MXM module type of notebook in order to have these part to be replace, compatibility is also another issue face by many people. so choosing the right CPU & GPU is very important when buying notebook.
