you are doing your cvt oil change every 20k?  shocking.gif

I think it depends on whether you are topping up or flushing it. Maybe someone who has done it can advice

Yes. I always practise to change the gear oil often coz I think the gearbox is much more sensitive than engine.

I change the gear oil of my old camry every 10k and it is working well after 18 years.

It is individual preference or maybe coz I plan to keep the car for long smile.gif

I think can put other brand of oil for CVT gearbox. I put the Eneos CVT for previous City CVT although many workshop dare not to put it. I changed brand coz the original CVT oil cannot solve the City gearbox issue. After that the gearbox issue solved and much more responsive. I still remember the foreman dare not pour the Eneos CVT oil to the City until I screwed him "Fxxking pour la!".

I know Redline has CVT oil also and known as one of the best oil but just a bit pricey. Good thing not cheap smile.gif

Of course if you simply put in imcompatible oil then sorry la.

I read the specification of the oil first before pouring it smile.gif

Quite costly to maintain it this way. So you are a hardcore driver??
*
It is depends on your yearly mileage and it will take me about 15-18 months to reach 20k mileage. I think is right time to change the oil also. If just once in 18 months and I am still can afford it smile.gif

The recommended oil change schedule is suitable for most driving pattern and you do not have to follow anybody else to change the oil earlier if this will increase your burden smile.gif

It is 2014 now and not sure proton will restart the production of Inspira or not. 2013 car will be lesser and lesser. I dun see the sign the Mitsu is going to launch new Lancer.

New Impreza 2015 looks like Inspira/Lancer. Not bad!

R u planning to get 2012 or 2013 car?

I have my car less than 1 month at Wangsa Maju dealer, my banker friend told me this is the top sales dealer and somehow they really can get me the car as promised.

This is the 3rd dealer that I went after fed up with first 2.

Branch will never able to give you the discount that the dealer gives.

I think they forgot to put it and need to ask the SA to get it for me. I thought Proton want to cut cost until remove that board. Thanks.
