yup its connected .. but can be replace separately ..
however .. nowadays most of them do not replace just the CV joint itself, due to the fact a lot of work need to be carry out. So they just replace the whole thing...

** if its under warranty .. proton will just claim their supplier .. as simple as that, they rugi on workmanship . but they have to ensure the parts really faulty only can claim else they sendiri telan the thing ...

they no blame u on the rims ?
*
I tot bigger and heavier rims only affect wheel bearing durability ??

*
If like wat Kenny has taught us, Proton might say u talk too loud in the car till the soundwave loosen up the dashboard, thus it rattles.. hmm.gif

hi guys, i bought a used inspira 1.8mt solid white. Can i join in here? any members here stay/work in kemaman or kuala terengganu?

btw i have a question to ask, do i need to change to shorter wiper blade if i want to install windshield sticker?
*
I think you have to, if not, the wiper will peel off your sticker. Original size shud be 17 , 24 . With tht sticker, you need to measure on your own. Besides, you need to make sure your sticker does not cover too many % of the windscreen, if not JPJ will cari makan from u.

Result of the previously modded radiator cover http://twitpic.com/dpxh9h

Closeup on the cutting, look at how everything is glossy and shiny lol http://twitpic.com/dpxhjy

Shiny engine cover lol http://twitpic.com/dpxhra

anyways finally breached the 200km/h barrier while going back from work around 4am on federal highway earlier this morning (yes christmas standby... lol), hit about 210km/h for a brief moment before i had to slow down for traffic. was a fun ride biggrin.gif

and below are probably the consequences sweat.gif
Really bad fuel consumption rofl http://twitpic.com/dpxjq0

With only less than 300 km mileage, it's already developing cracks /chipping. Lol continental cc5 http://twitpic.com/dpxkrl
btw guys, i had this weird whining sound when i exceed 160-180km/h, and the sound is intermittent regardless of throttle input and speed (so long exceed 160 to180km/h)... it's like a sharp whine... could this be the air intake/filter not properly fitted issue?
*
Waa..200km/h... Inspira become kereta sukan meh... shocking.gif But the fuel consumption is expected since you hit tht speed. Btw, check your tyre pressure. When they gave me the car, all 4 tyres only got 28psi.. Damm underinflated.

You ask Kenny remap already?? Do it la.. FC much better.

Before my first service, I went back Ipoh drive like 110km/h constantly the instrument panel shows 12.9km/h only. If go till 130km/h then I get 11.9km/h . What to do... 1.8MT fifth gear ratio so short. shakehead.gif How good if we have a 6th gear with taller ratio.

anyway, i think 80k should be safe...60k like abit too early. but im paranoid, tak mau fuel pump kong. that one vv pain loh...tow truck la...order pump la
*
Wont so easy kong the fuel pump. Just tht if you don't change it, it gets clogged. Clogged already, car jerking and ur fuel consumption shoot up till 6-7km/L for normal city drive.

Wanna ask you, since change fuel pump need to remove the back seat. Does your car got petrol smell after the change?? I had a fren who changed it at 74k km. He told me got petrol smell after that and the smell only go away after a week or more.

low rpm easier to rev, high rpm just noisier lol. (will need to remap to have the engine/ecu benefit from the higher air flow.)

Test 1 week and tell us your FC after changing to KNN drop-in. I'm interested to noe. Mine dropped from 590km+ to 550km+ per 50litres of fuel.

I will give some chance to see how it goes for few more days, or until CNY, after that I will just go for other SA jor, maybe Manjalara Kepong or Tmn Megah PJ.
*
Don't go Menjalara Kepong there to order. I stay nearby tat area and visited their showroom before. They don't even have stock for Inspira. Recommend you Mutiara Damansara or Jalan Ipoh branch. I took mine from Jalan Ipoh.

2000 km that's roughly about plus minus 500 linggit of petrol monthly based on  "best case scenario" U can tahan mou ? Worst case might hit 700-800 buck..... based on some forumer feedback as they only get roughly 300km per tank hehee...

If fc is not ya concern plz go ahead,if yes then get a vios type god.

Btw on average I drive about 1.5~2k monthly..minimum rm450 and maximum rm550 per month. Fyi, my petrol were fully covered by company. whistling.gif  whistling.gif
*
Waa..300km for 1.8MT... Who got tht bad ?? shocking.gif
I'm getting like 550~570km for 50L of fuel in city driving depending on traffic. But I control my right foot la. Not too slow though.

new question - did 1.8 E Manual ever had the original tweeter wiring by proton hidden for its earlier batches? read that 1.8 E Manual does not even come with any tweeter options so no wiring for entire batch.
*
Mine got. It is hidden behind the door trim.
