bro, as a 2010 2.0CVT owner speaking from experience, that click sound has always been there , just that you haven't given it any thought before hence you kinda ignored it until now , well maybe u are busy looking at your rev meter while driving

bro after starting the engine, yes it's always there if your gear is in P position and if u keep pumping your brakes like a madman of course u will keep hearing it lock and unlock la.... the purpose is to unlock your gear when brakes are applied so u can engage your gear to other position not by accident, a good safety feature, during at R, N or D there are no sound when u press your brakes...

so are you saying it's too loud for your preference? and all I am saying the sound is there and good luck telling proton you want it quieter and just in case if u didn't know, lynspira says sounds = performance
