1. nzh0920 right hand damn strong .. can uplift the 50kg anti roll bar .. (professor JayRaptor call it metal bar
2. nzh0920 actually lie to us.. instead of lifting up with his finger.. its actually wired using tiny wire hang from the top of the building to illustrate that he can uplift the 50kg anti roll bar ..
3. nzh0920 did not lie ... professor JayRaptor also no lie .... Bcoz the anti roll bar he holding is not from THailand ...

Probability ..

1. nzh0920 right hand damn strong .. can uplift the 50kg anti roll bar ..
Bcoz the anti roll bar he holding is not from THailand ...

the other at home while parking, cb throttle response lol

anyways just detailed the engine, everything is glossy/shiny LOL!

just the surface a bit sticky/oily to touch since i over sprayed sweat.gif
i'd share pictures (along with the radiator/intake snorkel support plastic panel mod), but my phone camera sensor seems to be dying doh.gif
no worries, got new phone already waiting, hopefully can fully migrate over tonight lol

aih... me until today also dunno what color i'm getting, called that fella yesterday afternoon, his "3rd" story saying there will be car allocation for yesterday, say later can pay downpayment, will let me know after that.

hmm, actually im not in rush, but dunno why 'waiting' like that keep makes me feel like now I'm like in the rush jor. Maybe because of he can't confirm on the color, and he told me if I fast then still got some color to choose from and now makes me 15, 16... 17, 18.... haizzz unsure.gif

When I went test drive with the technician can't hear a thing, maybe because of the heavy rain.

Then he jack up the car and check the joint for leakage but everything looks fine. He say he will try lubricate it and ask me to test see still got sound a not. He say that joint is connected to the driveshaft if anything happen the proton ppl from HQ have to come down and look if really need replace cause he say it cost about 3k+. I not sure is is true because I thought that cv joint is a separate part that can be replace individually.

yup its connected .. but can be replace separately ..
however .. nowadays most of them do not replace just the CV joint itself, due to the fact a lot of work need to be carry out. So they just replace the whole thing...

** if its under warranty .. proton will just claim their supplier .. as simple as that, they rugi on workmanship . but they have to ensure the parts really faulty only can claim else they sendiri telan the thing ...

they no blame u on the rims ?

Yeah, that's why he say I test and see if the sound is it really still there. Hopefully is really gone. At least he checked no leakage.

The service advisor got mention actually warranty dun cover if I change rims. Then I told him, now ori proton also 17 inch, no difference what.. tyre spec all same.. then he just let it through.. haha

I think if go to those authorized sc they sure malas layan. But so far all my warranty claim went through quite well. Luckily they have the disc brakes in stock coz i think it happens quite often on the inspira. I told him i had this issue since got my car but the other sc say will be gone after drive sometime. I drive 2 yrs ady still haven gone. After change whack 160km/h brake with no issue

I think you have to, if not, the wiper will peel off your sticker. Original size shud be 17 , 24 . With tht sticker, you need to measure on your own. Besides, you need to make sure your sticker does not cover too many % of the windscreen, if not JPJ will cari makan from u.

Just pasang the lgt arb which is 20mm, cant believe that 4mm extra can make such obvious different, the car si fat seem more direct and follow the front end turn better , especially the tight corner.
Handling so much diff after all these mods tongue.gif

yup yup. this is what i meant

Before thicker rear ARB:
Oversteer______________Neutral_____________Understeer
______________________________________^
______________________________________|
______________________________________(let's say car's behaviour was here)

After thicker rear ARB:
Oversteer______________Neutral_____________Understeer
_________________________________^
_________________________________|
_________________________________(car's behaviour is now here)

(has to add the underscore cuz HTLM can't parse whitespaces)

Probability ..

1. nzh0920 right hand damn strong .. can uplift the 50kg anti roll bar ..

Look, the ori Lancer GT manual version kerb weight already as heavy as the Inspira 2.0 auto with body kit that you claim same as the ori Lancer GT CVT auto <2012.

Lancer 2.0GT/GLS CVT - 10.5s
kerb weight GLS 1335kg
ori GT 1385kg

Lancer 2.0GT/GLS 5MT - 9.4s
kerb weight GLS 1305kg
ori GT manual 1355kg

Since you are the self pro-claimed conversion expert, so how do you explain this. Do you expect me to buy from you when you can't even tell the difference in ori Lancer GT '07-12?

Bro bro bro.. U didnt see we support u?

Last time u insisted that the 50kg comes from the anti roll bar u remember???
U also remind us that this is ori not third party cheapo stuff selling by the accessories shop so it weights 50kg remember??

That time we are so stuburn to argue with u that the rims are diff weight (which u told us the diff is neglectable)..
Then we says bodykit weight as well.. Then u says kids oso can carry bodykit.. U remember?? U insisted ur professional fren told u it was the antirollbar that weights 50kg more if u forget d..

Now we are actually supporting u... We already says nzh0920 bought the antirollbar from a japan lancer not thailand... Why u questioning us back?

By the way.. I never claim im expert.. I know... U are the one who claim u got professional fren who told u the 50kg anti roll bar... So now explain to us.. Isit becoz japan use ligther material?

jayraptor btw I have no interest explaining to u the weight difference as u will claim all the info we says are talk kok..

Anyhow this are what I have explain previous (which u and ur professional idea rejected totally as below)

Rim 18" additional weight 3-4kg each wheels..
4 wheels extra 15kg already
Each tire are bigger hence Additional weight for it as well..
Bodykit easily 5-10kg all round
The spoiler another 5-7kg
Roll bar bigger as well
absorber and spring also stiffer

All tat are useless according to ur profeessional fren.. Ur professional fren says the weight comes from the 50kg anti roll bar

anyways finally breached the 200km/h barrier while going back from work around 4am on federal highway earlier this morning (yes christmas standby... lol), hit about 210km/h for a brief moment before i had to slow down for traffic. was a fun ride biggrin.gif

Really bad fuel consumption rofl http://twitpic.com/dpxjq0

With only less than 300 km mileage, it's already developing cracks /chipping. Lol continental cc5 http://twitpic.com/dpxkrl

btw guys, i had this weird whining sound when i exceed 160-180km/h, and the sound is intermittent regardless of throttle input and speed (so long exceed 160 to180km/h)... it's like a sharp whine... could this be the air intake/filter not properly fitted issue?

Waa..200km/h... Inspira become kereta sukan meh... shocking.gif But the fuel consumption is expected since you hit tht speed. Btw, check your tyre pressure. When they gave me the car, all 4 tyres only got 28psi.. Damm underinflated.

You ask Kenny remap already?? Do it la.. FC much better.

Before my first service, I went back Ipoh drive like 110km/h constantly the instrument panel shows 12.9km/h only. If go till 130km/h then I get 11.9km/h . What to do... 1.8MT fifth gear ratio so short. shakehead.gif How good if we have a 6th gear with taller ratio.

i did go through the checklist so that's the first thing i did after i got off the highway to a petrol station after i collected the car from COSE crystal show room.

all 4 tires were around 23-25psi, inflated to 34 front 33 rear, it took a while for all 4 wheels lol
i got around 12.5km/l before with slow cruising despite still haven't done first service/remap laugh.gif

you also used meguiar's hyper dressing?

it's water based so it's really easy to get rid of it. i also have meguiar's super degreaser + karcher pressure washer so i'm not too concerned lol

btw guys, i had this weird whining sound when i exceed 160-180km/h, and the sound is intermittent regardless of throttle input and speed (so long exceed 160 to180km/h)... it's like a sharp whine... could this be the air intake/filter not properly fitted issue?

bro are you supposed to be able to peel/pry it out easily? the top/both left right side of the rubber lining can EASILY be removed sweat.gif
bottom side seems secured to the base of the wipers/chassis.

is that part supposed to be glued or what? like silicone or something? will have leaks a? icon_question.gif

I think most of our car also came with loose rubber lining. It comes out easily after park under hot sun and drive > 160km/h

Can apply glue or other adhesive to fix it permanently. Silicon will be messy IMO. hmm.gif

guys, not sure this issue been discus before or not...

recently my lala brake occasionally feels "loose/airy" (not sure what's the term) just like there's no brake when I'm trying maintaining constant pressure or trying to apply brake.

Also when I check the brake fluid it seems like depleted, hitting the minimum indicator. is it normal ? symptom of leakage ?

My windscreen hit by stone and can't repair the hole. I didn't buy the insurance so can't claim.
And last time SC exchange a no tint windscreen for me so currently broken one no tinted.

If tinted outside maybe can protect from stone unsure.gif

no unless you previously insure including tint. some insurance will have separate sum insured specified for windscreen only and tint (remember i asked before when i was insuring my new lala?)

only way out is either you got undertable/good story making, which most of the time wont work la unless you damn friend with the agent/adjuster.

IINM Subaru's CVT uses chain link instead of steel/rubber bands with steel plates like Proton (including Mitsu INVECS III).

Perhaps the chain link is more durable? hmm.gif

i'm talking about subaru's lineartronic CVT, it's WAAAAY better than any other CVT i've driven

and straights ok to test your cvt characteristics wut... to see how the virtual gears behave/shift, if you can downshift at will. you don't need a friggin corner to shift, in fact even on race track, the only reason you downshift is because you want the torque upon exiting corners.

normal braking will always be prioritized over engine braking.
think about it, your brake pad more expensive or engine/clutch/transmission more expensive?

when car buang i pray i don't die la LOL

no seriously, i've been into many (even serious accidents) before. the best you can do is not to let the car buang in the first place. if it does, as you probably already know from horror stories: more often than not even pros also can't save it.

I'm going back to stock 17 inch rims for another year till warranty ends while I get the SC to rectify all the metal knocking sound.

Anyone interested with my Lenso Project D spec B?

no seriously, i've been into many (even serious accidents) before. the best you can do is not to let the car buang in the first place. if it does, as you probably already know from horror stories: more often than not even pros also can't save it.

hmm, air cond shouldn't have such sharp whine, and vehicle speed shouldn't cause it to have such "consistent" (albeit intermittent) whine

not very sure how the inspira rotors are fitted/installed, however could they have possibly mess up the fitting/bearing?

mine have to be above 140(very hard, or sound not loud enough to notice) 160-180(easier/more consistent) km/h, anything below no sound though.

from experience, not really.
the sound will be more prominent (or start to happen) upon higher speed (load/stress)

on the iswara, it only happen when i stress the knuckle which is hard corner left/right. straight on the other hand no sound (ask anyone and they'll tell you drive shaft if corner got sound rofl)
got the bearings replaced and sound gone :/

well the sound is more consistent (almost permanently) if i can maintain full throttle above 160km/h (not easy, need to have DAMN CLEAR traffic, like MEX highway for example or you zig zag traffic, at that speed, on lousy CC5 rofl)

and it *seems* to be from passenger side
maybe i can get a passenger, have the side window open so they can easily determine if it is from the wheel.

who wants to joy ride at high speed? LOL

Anyway i will be going to the SC tomorrow again and ask them to check again on the metal knocking / clicking sound while I turn. Will ask them to take a look at the bearings as well. From what I know some said if the bearing damage it normally can't be seen. not sure how true is it.

from personal experience, unless you are a serious track kaki with your car, you'd typically get annoyed by the sound and get things done before anything reaches catastrophic damage nod.gif

i remember someone ask, is it worth to get a set of forged rims on inspira?
here is the beauti of forged rims by rays brows.gif

the downside of these rims were too expensive, even the used set also asking 4k and above (new set 8k and above)
doh.gif doh.gif

but of course,if u hit potholes like mad on malaysia rally condition road it will still dented. that's why not to use a too low profile tyre for your rim, it act like a cushion to it nod.gif

That's like nearly the time frame inspira launch since mitsu launched lancer

I am using Lenso 17 inch previously. Which only weights about 7.5kg+ each rim. The stock 17 inch inspira rim is about 10.5 kg each rim ..

It's funny the sound just don't want appear when I want it to while the technician test drive it. He said he can't do anything since can't hear the sound and he can't pinpoint what to check and all. Proton also wont approve the claims if they found out that there is no defect. The technician said just recently one inspira got the gearbox replaced which cost 25k..

Guess I have to just keep driving it until the sound gets worse. Seems like the weird noise appearing after driving above 80km/h is the tyre noise.

lol how you know (as in who collected an inspira?)?

for my case, i got all my documents/papers prepared months ago before i even goto the bola event lol.
and since got decent financial/credit status (i feed banks money so eh...) so they don't have any delay in approving my loan (albeit the interest f***ing sucks, only can nego till 2.8 sad.gif )

the SA i worked with also fairly well, got everything explained/update in timely matter considering the recent jpj changes and numerous system downs etc.

also got my requests attended well (eg: not washing the car upon delivery) so overall satisfied la.
he posted on mudah too and i've been in contact with him even prior to the bola event. (tan beng tuck from Proton HQ/COSE/crystal show room)

in Malaysia, you'd be surprised how even the simplest request people can still f*** it up.

like in this case, the general excuse is "it's not according to SOP"
initially even my sa also scratch head, but i told him if his superiors/manager needed clarification/confirmation they can speak to me directly.

i remember someone ask, is it worth to get a set of forged rims on inspira?
here is the beauti of forged rims by rays  brows.gif

the downside of these rims were too expensive, even the used set also asking 4k and above (new set 8k and above)
doh.gif  doh.gif

but of course,if u hit potholes like mad on malaysia rally condition road it will still dented. that's why not to use a too low profile tyre for your rim, it act like a cushion to it  nod.gif

I was the one who asked tongue.gif nice vid btw. I still tga considering rim. 16 inch is too small for inspira. Even my mom says so sad.gif

Just want some opinion. If SSR type C 18 inch 7.5jj 2nd hand with tyre michelin ps3 80% thread for rm5k okay x??

for me , no,
1. 18 tyre profile too low, tyre heavy , even u get the lightest one around , still weight about 8kg at least , and tyre also abt 1kg more, my combo at least lighter by 1.5kg tongue.gif

2. type c famous for too light weight and easily dented , go google up then u know, semi forged rim, thats why after ssr bought by tanabe they came out with type c rs later

Yea 18 inch tyre mmg a bit heavy. But i think inspira/lancer mmg masuk with 18 inch. 17 can tp tyre have to have higher sidewalls nk fill fender gap plus if lowered even better smile.gif

I think ssr use semi solid forging, not semi forging.not an inferior method, but a different type. I saw an article at lowyat explaing this but cannot remember where.

for me, 18 on inspira, purely for look , all i wanted was lighter unsprung mass tongue.gif car faster , brake better

if u compares SSR method of forging, it's more like a enkei MAT technology which is licensed to advanti, thats why i said not worth the price, but ssr type c one of the lightest rim around, its being ceased production cause many people complained that it was ways too easy to bend
