lol better fc (best ever recorded) during traffic jam from ipoh to Kuala Lumpur journey http://twitpic.com/ducc2l
that's 13.8km/l if the picture is hard to see...

and yes really jam even though start journey at 12:00 am earlier. reach home around 3am+
normally it takes me 1hr20mins to 1hr40mins to travel between Ipoh-KL, and it took me 3hours+ earlier. thankfully it isn't jammed the whole journey, traffic freed up as i approach selangor border/lesser rest stops (it jams the most around rest stop areas)

Surprisingly enough, i didn't really hate the gear shifting this time around despite being in a jam, shifts were really smooth. the gear oil change really did wonders right there thumbup.gif
as a matter of fact, it was my right foot that got numb/ache due to the light tapping/on-off playing around with FC since i had nothing better to do during the journey lol.

davidke20 can be better brows.gif
oh and lol poisoned my cousin in ipoh on the inspira; now he really wants one haha. depends on how the accordana fares in 2-3 years time... he's torn between inspira/accordana now i guess. initially he wanted a used previous gen camry 2.0 lol.

in your opinion, how much better can we push it after a remap?

come to think of it, what's the best FC people have gotten so far around here?
this is what i gathered from fuelly: http://www.fuelly.com/car/proton/inspira (oh hey saw my car lol)

I never bother ...
u wan FC .. wrong car ..
u wan know how much can push... find T630 he can cruise 90km/h all the way from JB .. while i did 2 hours JB -> KL .. tongue.gif

and i already mention multi million time the meter show AVERAGE FC .. not very accurate..
best i got about 15km/L i guess ..

most the time i wan test good FC .. end up max 30km distance.. then i floor it d ...  tongue.gif  and tell myself ... FARK it la
*
haha quite true la, old tech high cc petrol engine with a heavy fat body.

for my case, i basically try to maintain 5th gear as long as i get to go about 70km/h, then just feather throttle and try not to brake (keeping longer distances between myself and the car in front)

if i can get a good momentum, top speed also can reach around 140km/h with the dashboard still showing the same figure laugh.gif

of course, the meter is not accurate however it's a decent gauging on how one controls their right foot. if anything, my fuelly is improving which is a good thing and that's even before remapping biggrin.gif
http://www.fuelly.com/driver/quazacolt/inspira (recent fuel up -1 km/l due to 170-220km/h speeding journey to ipoh doh.gif doh.gif)

nzh0920
on that note, confirmed the meter is just 5-6% off from actual gps recording as i did around 210 and the gps was recording 197km/h biggrin.gif
at lower speeds it's more towards 5% and sub 100km/h there's barely much difference (again, % based afterall)

dont touch the aircon unless it's faulty.... once opened, it's gone....  tongue.gif

aircond compressor oil are regular maintenance item, afaik it circulates throughout the entire air cond system which you're required to clean/replace upon specified intervals.
as the process is time consuming especially with modern vehicles, labor charges are typically high (in the 100-300ish) for a full and proper air cond service smile.gif

intervals are 40-60k km or 2-3 years whichever comes first, depending on budget/air cond condition smile.gif
