QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 10 2014, 04:01 PM) bro, need to check with you. at that maluri SC, did they write down you bring own oil at your booklet? i called the manager of that sc (apparently is a friend of my SA too as he recommended me that person, and so ngam he is the manager of maluri SC) and he mention can is can, however they will note it down, and if let's say touch wood engine got issue, and they open up showing signs caused by engine oil (which they most likely will point finger to the engine oil lol) then it's voided. (on said specific engine parts that is caused by the engine oil) so is this true for you? personally, i don't see it as an issue since the EO i will be using will be more expensive than proton and is con9lan7fim better with API SN certification. and if got issue, can consider it as an excuse to plonk in 4B11 thought this might be good information to share to other owners in case they get sudden surprises Yes. Doesnt matter if the oil u use is Godlike. I use Mitsubishi Full Syn also they mark down.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 15 2014, 11:12 AM) that can be cheap depending on how you see it... because it does have precious metals such as platinum/Palladium and rhodium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalytic_con...er#Constructionthing is, we have no emission control here, and i'm not sure what's the amount of precious metals those local exhaust company will provide. if they really provide enough and meet (the almost non-existence) emission standards, then that's cheap, else it's expensive. hence yea, for a really damn good exhaust that allows quiet daily drive and able to quick switch/mod when going to tracks/spirited drive, AND be emission compliant, the price is damn scary and for the most part not worth it especially when performance gains are considered or more so when compared to the same gains a much cheaper alternative can yield. Thats the keyword here... hence u have alot of milo tin exhaust in msia...

QUOTE(mytmnet @ Jan 15 2014, 02:50 PM) Yes, if they said is fake oil causing my engine problem, I will show them my invoice SC always said a lot of fake oil in the market causing engine problem IT - DOESNT - MATTER As long as they put "Guna minyak sendiri", anythign wrong with your engine if they can they WILL blame it on the oil. And good luck with your warranty then. Read the fine print. Even proton's (in)famous 10 yr warranty on their power window requires u to service your car with proton for that 10 yrs to qualify for the warranty.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 15 2014, 02:59 PM) book nvm, can cheat. but they put in their computer/database. in the end useless LOL For sure they put in the database, cause they will get queried why there is not "sales" of engine oil during the service. Hence I have explained previously, if you "buy" their oil, you can keep it and request they put in YOUR oil into the car instead, they will NOT put a remark in that case. At the end of the day, they are just concern about the sales/profit of the oil.

I heard if you have the new "Super Duper Plasma Cluster Remap" then only can use. The plasma cluster remap can keep your engine clean from mold and viruses.
