Last week the sound was on and off and now was abvious, not sure will effect my disk brake or not. Or the caliper having some issue?

Worry will give mechanic cut throat so asking sifu here.

When was the last time you have had the accessory belt and/or tensioner replaced? What is your car's mileage?
*
Car mileage almost 80k but confirm is not belt or tensioner sound. Because I open my car window and clearly the sound come from front wheel there.

check ur brake pad first. then look for other parts.
Look at the pad, is it thin or still thick.

brake pad got indicator will cause the screeching sound when it is already thin..
*
Brake pad thin will give screeching sound even the car moving around? Only apply at driver side the sound.

it will make the cit cit sound even the car moving cause the brake pad indicator touching the disc.

The brake pad on driver side usually wear more compare to passenger side.
i not sure how to explain this. hmm.gif

u need to take out the driver side wheel only can check the brake pad left how much.

if wheel bearing , u will hear humming sound which is different sound from brake pad.
*
Then i think i need to bring to mechanic to change the brake pad. Before change ask the mechanic is it my brake pads are finish.

What rims are your Persona using? If it's the alloy wheels you should be able to see the brake pads easily.
*
I change to sport rim already, but i try to looked beside the rim can't see much the brakepad thick or thin sad.gif

Hi guys, previously my screeching issue whie driving is coming from brake pads. Now change to new set of brakepad to use, and still mornitoring the sound.

Oh ya, and i did ask for timing belt set change and the mechanic quote me Rm500++ using back the original from Proton, is it overprice?
