Hmmm Maybe too used to break with dropping gears

I drive very rough on my nissan sunny / Proton Persona

But when braking/slowing usually i drop a gear. Was driving manual.

You cannot compare with VW. These ppl knowingly buy a vehicle with known gear box and turbo issues. Either that or they prefer prestige and fun driving more than reliability.

I regret a bit now for buying a PE. Makan minyak like my Civic but much smaller size. Underpowered like my Civic but harder to accelerate without LCP. If I drove a Vios or Almera last Tuesday evening, I would not have bang a BMW X3 and lost my NCD coz if I drive Vios and Almera, I would have gone faster and overtake that vehicle earlier.

Don't know what my ongoing repair car going to have any problem later coz I don't trust the huge insurance panel workshop, too many cars there, no personal touch especially when a claimant just complain her car windows drip water inside after repair there....when I'm signing claim form that day.

Most importantly, Vios can still attract a leng mui, apa PE can attract....

On side note, if I have gotten an Almera or Vios, every time I pay instalment, I sakit hati coz my lunch money cut by 80%. Now PE pay instalment, almost tak Nampak the amt. With the high mileage I'm going, the lost of value of the car after 5 years will likely be 40K instead of 30K with PE. The higher the value the car, the more mileage it go, the bigger the amt it drop. That's why I keep Civic as weekend car and a cheaper car like PE can go high mileage with minimum resale value loss.

So sad without lcp i lost to a damn city f**k that!!!! Once car accident and claim insurance and If you don't know the workshop people that that it. Last time my mom car claim insurance because of accident. After 1 month pass you could not imagine what had happen.......

Wait till their warranty over....they may as well change car than to bear to cost of repair.

I got City at home lar...with a LCP also you will lose to a City. LCP only "correct" the weakness of PE low torque but does not increase it better than others.

City got huge amt of torque and 122 hp. PE only 110 hp coupled with heavy body. iVTEC or VTEC (for my City) is not just for show coupled with its lighter body (abt 150 lighter than PE) could tapau PE anytime. PE advantage is extreme stability at high speed for its range and very efficient handling vs City celupy handling.
