QUOTE(iskazulka @ Mar 20 2014, 09:06 AM) if it's me, i'll drive slow just as usual unker driving slow. Its not really fast but more like too close FOR the distance between cars. When I bang, my bag on front sit barely move, so its not a high speed bang. That's why only kena the middle part causing bonnet to bengkok, the front logo and bars probably hit the radiator slightly. All my lights are intact. The only reason I forfeit my NCD is replacement cost of the BMW X3 bumper around 2K. If its an audi A6 with replacement the rear lamps costing tens of thousand for A6, its the insurance that's gonna pay also but at least it truly justify the cost of losing my NCD. Now the X3 cost plus mine barely makes the cost of NCD but no choice since its near there and I can pay instalment for that instead of 1 lump sump 3K-4K.tired, sick and sleep is not good condition to drive fast. u should be thinking of your loved one, especially ur daughter. please remember that. thankful that you are ok. inb4 pandu cermat jiwa selamat poket selamat. Everyday I also run that road at same speed.....abt 60-80km/h depending on traffic condition. Its not especially fast that night, just the usual speed. My unker driving technique usually allows me to brake in time as I usually observer 2 to 3 cars ahead, so when the 1st car emergency brake, my auto respond is brake even before the car in front of me brake. This time, its my negligence for following to close behind a 4WD that does not allow me to see the cars in front. This post has been edited by Cavino: Mar 20 2014, 10:03 AM |

QUOTE(nomoredfox @ Mar 20 2014, 09:44 AM) Did not ask you to buy itu bike costing 1K and above. Got a 1.5K bike at home collecting dust now. Go buy those chopper or something like my daughter mountain bike, only RM700.Frankly, the wear and tear parts like air filter, oil filter, etc quite cheap when compared with other makes. However my CVT (gear oil) for City cost me abt RM110 only. Don't know why PE gear oil need to hit RM150 instead. This post has been edited by Cavino: Mar 20 2014, 10:07 AM |

Hi guys,
Do you guys know how to disassemble the driver side door panel ? Well, recently my PE central alarm was sot already. When slam/close the door, it auto lock the door (randomly). (I din press remote / Handbrake is engage / Brake Pedal is disengage / Car engine is started/off) This happen quite random. And i suspect the door lock gun on driver side is the one who cause that. I test with Open the door (Leave the driver side door open), then press Lock Door from control panel, all door lock except the driver door which go lock on half way then unlock again. Then tried use hand manually press the lock knob down, it was stuck at middle and cannot press further down. But when i close the door and try, it was able to function properly as well as the door knob. Sometimes after drive the car out from garage, step out from car while engine on to close the house gate, come back wanna open door, ishhhhh~~~~ when i pull the door handler , it lock the door on the spot. or sometimes when i slam / close the door, it auto lock itself >.< Beside that, the aircond also got hantu Check from many forum , i think this is common issue on persona. Some owner change the panel but problem might come back again, the panel cost RM700+ (gila price). So i just leave it This post has been edited by dragonteoh: Mar 20 2014, 12:25 PM |

QUOTE(dragonteoh @ Mar 20 2014, 12:23 PM) Hi guys, Don't leave the knob near the off setting (low temp), switch it a few click higher and see if it off itself or not. If the knob is indeed loose, the temperature will go higher and lower and vice versa, will not off coz off is a few clicks away. If knob loose and warranty over, you have no choice but to leave it or pay for it. My panel changed since 9 months ago (changed near end of warranty). QUOTE(Cavino @ Mar 20 2014, 08:36 AM) Follow to close....but bmw 4wd in front, so cannot see further up ahead when they all brake hard (2 other cars in front also bang). Brake but tyre skid, its partly too close, too fast but one condition added to it....my tyre thread only slightly above minimum indicator thus for NCT5, the braking strength of the tyres are already reduced to less than 50%. Just discovered that a few days ago and intend to change this weekend or next to Yokohama CD2. Now pokai already. The so-called insurance payment is not really free for me coz I calculated...its almost the same amt with my lost NCD 55% if when calculated for the next 5 years to reach back 55%. So its just a 5 years instalment payment for me, meaning I still have to pay for my lost AND the bmw ones over 5 years period instead. |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Mar 20 2014, 01:46 PM) Not tailgating lar. Just happen when reaching at that point of the road, the car is in front, when past that point usually distance between cars increase. Unker too old to tailgate and rarely tailgate unless rushing to meet girlfriends. Unfortunately did not have one, so no tailgating. This post has been edited by Cavino: Mar 20 2014, 02:25 PM |
