At one point of my car's life its engine ran on HX5 for close to 11 months  . No problem pun, just in the process the engine was loud + sluggish , and I go over 5k RPM quite a lot last time, and even now, but of course with a better oil.

Not worth it to change now. Just use the lube till 5K service. Some ppl wait for 6K....calculate from 1K service + 5K = 6K.

The first 1K service will flush the heaviest metal shards (new engine) away. Most metal shaving still comes in in between 5K OCI. So change you lube at 5K OCI not 6K.

btw, although Helix gives lousy performance for PE, its not going to damage it. Just not so smooth and more rougher noise. To use 100 over bucks to change a 4K lube is totally not worth it.....unless your car now degraded too much in performance also.

u use shell and summore wanna whack it until 5k.. it's really damaging.

my car use shell until now 37K no problem one.

i've book my first service on this coming saturday.
but my mileage already hit 900km, will sc still accept if my mileage exceeded abit about 1100 instead of 1000?

i heard some folks forgot to book the first service, until they only notice when it hits around 1300, and the sc still do service for them.

my first service would be
standard in the booklet
ask them to check my break, got abit of sound during breaking
the boot behind is hard to close, need to bang abit hardlly to close it.
gear, very tight, maybe new car is like that one?

because i change gear on 2k rpm, it do give more power on pick up if i drag till 2.5k
but i still didn't dare to do that since it's new babe............just like you can't force a girl for first time...........................

after 5 years, your car engine will be very suffering
