Does the evasion ios7 jailbreak work on ipad 2?

The latest one is supposed to work (I tried and the jailbreak worked fine) BUT, it crashes my Skype, Email and Safari (meaning I can't even open the apps) so had to restore the iPad 2 wifi to iOS 7.0.4 stock.

As long don't restore back the iPad settings and set it as an new iPad, it will be working fine after jailbreaking the iPad with the latest version of Evasi0n7 1.0.2

Ohh, we'll try this solution. But it will be a pain to get everything setup (wifi passwords, contacts, etc etc ...)

Just some setup to need be done but at least you're problem free from those who keeps complaining that having issues after jailbreaking their iDevices. I am suspecting by restoring the old iOS settings from a previous jailbroken iDevices will have some issues with the iOS7, that's why I recommended it's better to setup as a new iPad once the new iOS was installed. Not sure with a non-jailbroken iDevices but for those who have some problems can give this a try as long you keep the backup settings in your iTunes for just in case. As for Contact, you can simply backup to iCloud and resync them back to your device after jailbreaking your iDevices.

i just JB my iPad Air with Evasion 1.0.4, everything is fine, but then when i choose to restore from backup, cydia apps went missing. how can i get it back?

Before i JB my iPad Air, i JB my iPhone 5 with Evasion 1.0.2, everything went fine, including restore from backup, but now my iPad Air Cydia disappeared, is it because i used Evasion 1.0.4? can i JB again?

Lets say i were to JB again, how should i remove the JB? i understand that if a iOS device is JB, we cannot just restore from downloaded firmware right?

Restore from backup will auto delete all your Cydia app . Apple backup will not backup Cydia apps.You need to JB again n than redownload those app.
All JB methods is same n will not restore your JB n Cydia app.

I have this problem when restoring the backup settings on my Jailbreaked iPad 2, what I did is restoring the iOS again using iTunes(which clean wipe the iPad either it's JB or not) and jailbreak the iPad all over again. Only this time I set it as a new iPad instead of restoring the backup settings so the Cydia App will intact in the iPad. Not sure whether 7.0.4 that have cause this as you can try Evasi0n 7.0.2 to JB your iPad Air and restore the backup settings all over again.

i restore again to 7.0.4 with itunes, and rejailbreak with evasion. everything is good, but then when i sync with itunes, those cydia downloaded apps turn total white icons and when i press those apps like app cake, activator, they exit immediately. i found that i have to reinstall the apps with cydia only then they can be used. but this apply to everytime i sync with itunes. anyone face this problem?

My iphone5 evasion jailbreak is very good, i can even restore from backup without any problems. but this ipad air is driving me crazy. maybe i try again today and use evasion 1.0.2 instead of 1.0.4.

After many restore and JB, i realise the problem of missing cydia downloaded apps or these apps icon turn white, just do a reboot to the iPad and they will come back after reboot.
