How's everyone doing ?

So I've been planning to get into fishing and my girlfriend has been showing interest too.

Two questions,

1. What kinda gears should I get as a beginner and where would be a good shop to go?

2. Where can I fish in kl/PJ area that might be suitable for someone new?
I looked up and saw that the lake in Taman Jaya that seems to be good.

So any help for this newbie xD
