Hey guys, a noob here and would like to ask for some pointers .

I used to fish maybe 10 years ago, and thought of picking up the hobby again, whilst getting my wife involved. We recently did prawning and it was expensive but fun (the wife really liked it).

Considering a 2 day 1 night trip, is there any recommendation for a fishing trip that we can do for below RM500 inclusive accommodation around Perak/Pahang/Selangor area? I do have some rods but it might need some new reels. Not very well versed with what goes with what as I used to fish with my late father and he did all the rod/reel picking.
