Hi all fellow anglers. I'm new in LYN. Just want to share with all of you about my fishing stories, experience, etc.

For your information, I've been "kumpau" for almost 4 months until I caught this beautiful "bujang" Toman last Tuesday.

I estimated its weight around 2 to 3 kg. It put on a really good fight though. The setup I'm using are :

Rod : Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 (8-17lb)
Reel : Abu Garcia Revo ALX HS
Line : Spiderwire Stealth-Braid 15lb
Leader : Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon 20lb
Lure : Ofmer Air Flow Pop

Banting ? You mean Jugra fishing pond ?

I heard that they not allowed treble fishing hooks over there. But many anglers used it anyways.

Not so sure about its exact location because I never been there.

Where is that place "Pandamaran Shg" ? Casting or bottom technique ?

Where are you from ? I'm from Bangi, Selangor.

I can take you for Toman fishing in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya areas.

They are non-fishing areas but I know the "line clear" spots. Lots of good-size Toman !

Maybe in 2 weeks time. The weather is not favourable to go out casting for Toman.

It's quite hot over there and there's not too much shades.

Have to wear UV protected clothing and sunblock lotion. Haha.

Tasik Kenyir and Royal Belum got shades. Don't worry.

Aku dah 3 minggu dah keluar casting. Cuaca tak mengizinkan la. Kat Sri Petaling takde port ke ?

Kau pernah try casting kat Taman Tasik Titiwangsa tak ? Aku dengar kat sana banyak Toman size mega.

Ikan-ikan yang hidup dalam tasik kat bandar semua dah hilang natural instinct dia.

Tengok gewang lalu depan muka pun buat tak tahu je. Haha.

It's not about the bait's brand. It's how you provide action to it. The more natural the action, the more better and effective.

Using artificial bait is good for the environment as well. Try to buy cheap artificial bait and have a go. SOTELLO is quite a good cheap brand.

Anyway, I would love to sell one of my fishing lure and two casting rods.
