I used CF auto root. So far no issue.

mine don't have such issue at all.. Since you rootded update to NA5 kernel or boeffla kernel..  

I used stock one before, problem solved and now using custom also no issue..

Just updated to new 4.3 jelly bean via OTA. Notice that I have LINE messaging app installed also. Can't be removed. Is it actually included in the update? Can't get any info from net though.

is it safe to update my s3 4.12 to 4.3? I saw so many people having problems with the update. I'm planing to use kies to do the update.

My S3 also got unlock delay after update. I tot im the only one. 

Hi guys, I updated my S3 thru wifi download.

After finish installing then it goes rebooting.

Then it stuck on the Samsung logo till forever..

What should I do??

After stucked at the logo screen for few hours, I decided to turn the phone off.

Then I tried to turn it on again, I can't. Even when I tried to charge the phone, I didn't give any response...!

Just sent in my phone to Samsung Service centre and got it fixed

I found out the temporary fix, I select none for the unlock effect.
So far I didnt plan to re flash it again.

what they did? They return your phone to you around 1-3 hours and everything wiped?

Been using S3 since July 2012 but only now dared to flash ROMs - last 2 weeks been rooted my S3 but the next day updated to 4.3 via KIES.

another weird thing happens to my S3(just discovered) - I have flash using the UAE ROM and i rooted using CFRoot(non auto) when i tried to install BusyBox + nandroid it says my device is not rooted.
Checked using root checker - it's not rooted!
Checked using cpuz - it says yes(rooted)
Now should i root my s3 again using CF Auto Root?

ya information is not that clear yet where US is speaking for us model. Hope international mode is parted of their list

By the time they really release the update, kitkat already obsolete and Google already announce a newer version. Jz like how we get 4.3 after kitkat announced.

Second
The could not deliver, and say kitkat is a small update. Ask us continue wait for the next android version. Only getting it after the next next android version out.
Jz like how s3 skip 4.2 straight go 4.3 and only getting it after 4.4 announced.

nope, phone is not rooted. stock everything from day 1. about almost 2 years ago.
