any recommended kernel for temasek v42 rom?
currently using temasek kernel but battery draining like hell X_X

it is recommended to perform a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik cache) if there is major upgrading from one version to another version.

for bloatwares, refer page 1

on 4.4, go to settings>apps>click on the app and uncheck the checkbox

in recovery,
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
reflash firmware

else u use mobile odin pro to do the 3 steps for u

wanna ask.. temasek rom can use boeffla omnirom cm11 kernel? or just cm11 kernel?

means omnirom kernel will do lah.. kk will try later thanks

came across a friend's s3 who keep restarting randomly for no reason..
note that it's not boot loop, the phone was able to start up properly. the reboot comes in randomly after the phone got boot up completely.

i helped him to do a clean flash for the stock rom and stock kernel.. but problem persist..

weird..

any thoughts on this?

baru flashed v47.1 with boeffla omnirom 2.2 beta..
so far so good..

couldn't be bad apps coz i memang wipe data cache dalvik before flashing the stock rom and kernel..
if it's really SDS.. what is the next thing that happened to your phone that time? o_o

sudah buat ini step bro..
that phone is like rebooting randomly after few mins.. it's like 10+ times in a day..
freakin annoying @_@

temasek v47.1 by default is dalvik iinm.. but u can go check

first enable developer options if u not yet do so
go to settings > about phone > tap continuously on build number to enable developer mode

then go to back to settings page again > developer options > scroll to then end > under "select runtime" > choose dalvik..

did u set the governor? try the zzmoove battery extreme yank..

try the one i suggested... ur current governor might have disabled music or close other apps whenever the phone sleeps as one of the ways to save battery

no idea on ur headset problem.. maybe a new reason to try flash v48? since the ART is ald fixed and they added the volume steps thingy in there..

which boeffla u flashed? the omnirom 2.2 beta-4?

yea works great with 47.1

bos just flash using cwm.. it's better and faster than odin..
believe me.. go learn it from youtube, it's pretty easy
before u do anything, backup dulu

this is what u do according to the link above.

Step 1: Install cwm recovery


Step 2: put ur downloaded rom (which is in zip file) into internal/external sd card, wipe data, cache and dalvik, then flash the zip in cwm recovery


Step 3: Flash one of the temasek kernel, or go download boeffla omnirom kernel, flash it via the same way as in step 2.

Step 4: Flash the google apps provided by temasek also, method same as step 2.

viola~
