Want to ask. MK6 rooted with CF-Root but having problem giving root access to Game Killer and GameCIH. Others like Freedom,Triangle Away, Wanam Xposed and Mobile Odin no problem with root.

In SuperSU I can see Game Killer and GameCIH have root access but when I run them no root access. Anyone experiencing this before? Remove from the list and add back by opening app and grant access still same.
*
Try updating your SuperSU from Play Store

Can someone explains this for me?

Why is my S3 got the different reading (sometimes 200, sometimes 400 and etc) when I am charging my S3?

In case you guys wondering what are those numbers, there was an app that allowed the user to see how much energy charged into their phone, although I am not so sure about the accuracy.
*
Those readings are called charging rate, in mA units.

What did you use to charge? A PC or a laptop on battery?

Man the camera quality and sound really turn me off and now I wanna switch back to Stock Rom  cry.gif  If I download the Stock Rom and Flash it back, will everything go back to normal as it should be? Am I able to get back all the Samsung apps that was included in the Stock ROM? Thanks.
*
Like you said, stock ROM. It will be restored to the state like or similar to what you had experienced after unboxing your device.

I'm using CM 11 M2, tunein radio jitters when screen off, not the lockscreen distorted issue. Any idea?
*
Jittering in the audio? That's considered as lagging.

lagging came to my mind at first too and i tot it was something to do with undervolting the low frequencies, but after i restored to default setting the problem presist. so any fix?

Try limiting your minimum CPU speeds to 400Mhz to prevent it from entering deep sleep and see how it goes.

Hahahaha! My S3 still running fit and getting faster and faster from 15K+ to 17K to 18K and now 19K+ rclxm9.gif

Maybe i will change when S7 or S8... rclxms.gif Cause S4... S5... only with better memory and process and screen + Apps..

I am waiting for evolution but not sure my S3 can last till then... sweat.gif

I remember getting 13k when it was just launched on ICS.

Now, at 1.8GHz, 18k is no sweat.

benchmark doesnt make have any significance in real world usage.

yesterday i flash archidroid samsung touch wiz one. used it from morning till night, i feel sien waiting for things to open.
i send lots of whatsapp, but everytime tap the homescreen shortcut to  whatsapp someone, need wait a little longer. everything is smooth but have tiny delay compared to temasek. its not big difference, but noticeable enough to be annoying.

archidroid also get somewhere around 18k, which is same as temasek.
nexus 4 antutu is between 17k-18k, but trust be the nexus 4 is way more responsive than s3 is every aspect. these score doesn't really make any sense nor does it represent real world usage.

weird news that moto G beat nexus 4 in antutu. shows how unreliable antutu is
http://blog.gsmarena.com/moto-g-scores-hig...g-galaxy-s-iii/

imo, processing speed is already very good, the limiting factor is probably the read write speed of the internal memory.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...m.a1dev.sdbench
use this app to check the read write speed of internal memory,
note3 read and write is more than twice faster than s3.
(120MB/s & 90MB/s) vs (44MB/s & 23.63MB/s)

I guess it concerns RAM and kernel

I have different view. Higher benchmark definitely telling how a phone behaving. I can bet with your that same model phone that running same ROM/ Kernel but one with lesser bloatware will definitely have higher benchmark the one without removing bloatware.

The one with boosted custom kernel and lesser bloatware will definitely score higher and smoother than the one running on Stock ROM/ Kernel also with lesser bloatware.

I have few friends complaining their note 3 is lagging.. guess what???? they have installed some apps that required high I/O and RAM.

I have installed the same apps to my S3.. wow it's really causing lag.

I don't have note 3 and if i have my note 3 will be a wild beast after removing bloatware and disable samsung great features.. icon_idea.gif

Cut the story short, conclusion is... high benchmark will definitely playing an important role and if with better kernel will refine the performance.. Also with less bloatware and less resource hungry apps is added value..

help!
my mum just dropped her phone and rendered the screen useless. But i think the system is still running as the notification led is still blinking.

how do i:
1: Backup EVERYTHING included sms, watsapps log, images, contacts?
2: If no possible way to backup, how do i reset the whole phone completely before sending in for repair?
Thanks!
*
If you're sending your phone to Samsung for repair, they will wipe the phone first before doing anything according to my prior experience.

Whatsapp logs, easy, wait after 4am it will automatically backup. Assuming you don't have screen lock (pattern/passcode) then you can just simply plug in your phone to the PC then you can copy the Whatsapp folder to your computer. SMS, requires apps unless you're good at ADB to retrieve SMS databae. Images, just like Whatsapp, copy DCIM folder. Contacts are usually synced to your Google account, no worries.

And yes: cracked screen? No worries, just plug in a mouse using OTG cable (if your LCD is still working but the touch sensor is gone)

eh..i think only normal screen lock. i think sms not important bah. then just copy the whole thing from the storage to pc also can already? the screen now only shows some blue green lines at the top. and looks like liquid came out also.
so i think the mouse option useless liao.

worth to replace it actually?
say if i give my mum my s3, then i go for other phones. since i dun quite like s3 and is looking for replacement also.
or send in for quotation first?
*
Liquid come out? AMOLED got liquid ohmy.gif

Usually will costs around RM500 or more. Since the LCD is gone, they can't "recycle" the screen by changing the glass to offset the costs of replacement.

If you think its not worth it, then sell the phone as parts instead. Better send in for quotation from both Samsung and 3rd party shops.

dunno is liquid or not. but is something like watery at the bottom 1/2 of the screen.
500. cny coming. force the sisters pay for the repair. since they gave this phone to her.
rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

but tomoro will backup, then send to samsung for quotation first.
*
Be careful with the liquid, the last thing you want is the liquid to damage your motherboard. By then you can't backup the contents of the phone AND needs a motherboard replacement which costs 1/2 the price of the device's current market price.
